A bit about us:
We are a privately held real estate investment management firm with a long-standing history of creating value through strategic investments across multifamily, mixed-use, and retail assets. With decades of experience and a strong presence in high-growth markets, we partner with institutional investors to execute sophisticated real estate strategies across a range of risk profiles. Our team combines deep industry expertise, disciplined underwriting, and a collaborative approach to identify opportunities, optimize performance, and deliver results.
Why join us?
This is an opportunity to join a growing investment platform where you will have meaningful exposure to complex real estate transactions, capital markets, and portfolio strategy. The role offers the ability to work closely with senior leadership, influence investment decisions, build relationships with major capital partners, and help shape the firm’s continued growth. We value analytical excellence, ownership, collaboration, and individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment where their ideas and expertise make a direct impact.
We are seeking a Director, Portfolio Management & Finance to join our team and serve as a key strategic leader supporting the firm’s investment, capital markets, and portfolio management initiatives. This role will oversee a broad range of responsibilities spanning debt execution, capital planning, portfolio analytics, fund management, and structured finance investments. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of commercial real estate finance, exceptional analytical capabilities, and the ability to manage complex transactions while partnering effectively with internal teams and external capital providers.
In this position, you will play a critical role in executing the firm’s capital strategy by sourcing, structuring, and closing property-level debt financings, interest rate hedges, and co-investment equity transactions. You will manage relationships with lenders, debt funds, insurance companies, institutional capital partners, and brokerage relationships while representing the firm throughout the financing process. This includes preparing financing materials, evaluating capital structure alternatives, coordinating due diligence, negotiating transaction terms, and ensuring successful execution from initial outreach through closing.
You will also lead portfolio analytics and fund management activities, providing valuable insights into investment performance, valuations, forecasts, and capital allocation strategies. Key responsibilities include maintaining fund-level models, analyzing portfolio metrics, overseeing quarterly valuation and forecasting processes, reviewing asset-level performance, supporting investment committee materials, and developing strategic recommendations related to acquisitions, dispositions, refinancings, and long-term portfolio optimization.
Additionally, this individual will identify, evaluate, and execute structured finance opportunities, including preferred equity and mezzanine investments in third-party real estate projects. You will perform detailed underwriting, financial modeling, scenario analysis, and risk assessment while monitoring ongoing investment performance and compliance.
As a senior member of the organization, the Director will collaborate closely with acquisitions, asset management, development, accounting, investor relations, and executive leadership teams. The role includes direct oversight and mentorship of junior team members, driving process improvements, enhancing analytical capabilities, and helping strengthen the firm’s overall investment platform.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in real estate finance, capital markets, portfolio management, or investment analysis, with proven experience evaluating complex transactions and translating financial data into actionable business insights. A high level of proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and real estate investment analysis is required. Experience with multifamily and commercial real estate assets, debt execution, lender relationships, and fund-level reporting is highly preferred.
This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who thrives in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment and is looking to take on a highly visible role with significant ownership, strategic influence, and exposure to sophisticated real estate investments.
