Job Description
The Dining Commons Food Service Supervisor position that combines operational leadership, employee supervision, food production oversight, customer service, inventory management, and compliance responsibilities. The role requires a hands-on leader who can manage daily operations while maintaining Aramark's standards for safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Compensation Data
COMPENSATION: The hourly rate or salary range for this position is $24.00 to $24.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities
- Control labor costs through effective staffing and scheduling.
- Adjust staffing levels daily based on business needs.
- Ensure compliance with time and attendance procedures.
- Delegate work assignments efficiently.
- Supervise food preparation and cooking according to recipes and brand standards.
- Monitor food quality and service standards through regular audits.
- Ensure food is stored safely and in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Oversee workstation setup, breakdown, and sanitation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Control production and supply costs.
- Follow established operational standards to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
- Supervise daily employee performance and address workplace issues professionally.
- Assist with employee reviews, coaching, counseling, and performance management.
- Train and mentor food service staff on safety, sanitation, and health procedures.
- Promote teamwork and positive employee engagement.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards.
- Foster positive relationships with guests, customers, clients, and coworkers.
- Follow Aramark policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Maintain clear communication with staff and central office personnel.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation requirements.

Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Food service and hospitality experience required.
- Leadership and team-building abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and adaptability to new technology.
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
