We are seeking a dynamic and highly analytical FP&A Analyst to join our remote team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your advanced financial skills into a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment. As an FP&A Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our financial planning and decision-making processes, using your expertise to guide our strategic direction and fuel our growth.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, to support decision-making across the organization.
- Leverage your advanced Excel skills to create complex formulas and sophisticated financial models.
- Use data mining techniques to extract, analyze, and interpret data from various sources.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, ad hoc reports, and long-range financial forecasts.
- Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and analyze profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Utilize PowerBI to create insightful dashboards and visualizations.
- Manage our ERP system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- A Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel, including complex formulas and Excel modeling.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with general ledger management.
- Proven experience in preparing and analyzing profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Experience in data mining and financial analysis.
- Ability to create long-range financial forecasts.
- Experience in monthly reporting and ad hoc analysis.
- Proficiency in PowerBI or similar data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
