Entry Level Front End Software Engineer Jobs

As a Senior Analytics Analyst , you will own the reporting and analysis behind R1's front-end revenue cycle - pre-registration, pre-authorization, and insurance verification. This is one of the harder analytics problems in the business: the data doesn't sit in one database, so you'll pull it together from systems, engineers, and the people who run the programs themselves. The numbers you produce go to health system stakeholders and clients as contractual KPIs, which means accuracy here has direct financial consequences. You'll join a team of three analysts, taking over a well-established and genuinely complex book of work.

What you'll do

• Build and deliver recurring and ad-hoc reporting on pre-service performance for internal leaders and client stakeholders
• Source data that lives across multiple systems and owners, partnering directly with engineers and pre-service program teams to get what isn't in a database
• Write intermediate-to-advanced SQL - CTEs, window functions, unions, and the right join for the job - against Databricks and related platforms
• Develop Power BI dashboards and DAX measures that make front-end KPIs clear to non-technical audiences
• Automate recurring reporting and manual workflows using Power Automate and Excel
• Analyze complex datasets to surface trends, patterns, and anomalies, then translate them into concise summaries leadership can act on
• Validate data transfers and reporting outputs, since these metrics carry contractual obligations
Take full ownership of a defined reporting portfolio and the stakeholder relationships that come with it

What we're looking for

• Intermediate or better SQL, with fluency in CTEs, row-number/window functions, unions, and join logic
• Hands-on Databricks experience
• Advanced Excel - XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and the speed that comes from really knowing the tool
• Power BI, including comfort building with DAX
• Power Automate
• Experience working in analytics with complex datasets, ideally in healthcare, finance, or operations
• Strong communication skills - much of this data is obtained by asking the right people the right questions
Preferred: Snowflake, Python, and experience applying AI to real analytics work (Databricks especially)

Your first 30 and 90 days

• First 30 days: Learning and access. You'll get provisioned across the various systems this team depends on, meet your stakeholders, and start absorbing the reporting portfolio you're inheriting. Success looks like moving access forward quickly and asking sharp questions.

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $54,661.00 - $68,674.31 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
