Fuel Lube Truck Driver with Hazmat Endorsement

We are excited to offer a Fuel Truck Driver position to someone with CDL B / Hazmat endorsement to work with our talented team.

Job Requirements:

This position will require the driver to fuel, grease, and oil all types of equipment / machines in the field to ensure consistent equipment operation. This position will include the responsibility of a Fuel Truck to service our equipment fleet with fueling, greasing and necessary maintenance.

• Must be a reliable, responsible and dependable person that always put Safety first!
• Must have a Hazmat Endorsement that is current and not expired. This is not negotiable and is required for this position.
• Deliver fuel to various job sites to ensure consistent equipment, machine and truck operation.
• Grease and help maintain equipment to ensure constant and consistent operation.
• Ensure equipment is operating and performing at appropriate specifications.
• Perform preventative maintenance measures on equipment and machines as needed and/or scheduled.
• Transport materials between locations as needed or required.
• Monitor gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure machines are working properly.
• Perform maintenance checks.
• Ensure all tools are stored properly at the end of each shift.
• Responsible for notifying department lead of any potential safety or equipment issues immediately.
• Responsible for following processes and procedures correctly.
• Responsible for wearing appropriate clothing, shoes, and personnel protective equipment.
• May also perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications = Required knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position:

• Must have a valid Commercial Driver’s License with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
• Must have a clean DMV record with a safe driving history.
• Must have the ability to work in a team setting.
• Must have the ability to detect problems, errors, omissions, miscalculations, and non-compliance against requirements.
• Must have the ability to plan, organize, schedule work in efficient and productive manner. Ability to focus on key priority, juggles multiple projects, and manages time effectively.
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communication.
• Must have the ability to listen, comprehend directives, inquiries and/or comments, and decipher intent and meaning.
• Must be able to work in extreme heat and cold, also moderate to high noise levels.
• Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds. You will be lifting kegs of grease, pulling hoses, climbing on top of fuel truck.
• Shifts include days, nights, and weekends as needed. Must be flexible and able to work varying shifts as workload dictates.

Education and Experience:

• Ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ideal candidate should have at least one to three years of experience.
• Ideal candidate must have 3 – 5 years Hazmat experience along with their CDL license
