Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic General Manager to lead daily operations at one of our current or future concepts. In this role, you will hold overall responsibility for the guest experience, financial performance, team development, and operational standards of the restaurant. Working in alignment with group leadership, you will cultivate a culture of excellence, precise service execution, and genuine warmth.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring seamless execution, polished dining room presence, and optimal guest flow during service.
- Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, hire, train, and mentor front-of-house staff; conduct regular testing on menu knowledge, service mechanics, and hospitality standards.
- Financial Management: Drive revenue growth while managing P&L lines, including labor scheduling, beverage cost controls, operating expenses, and inventory management.
- Guest Experience: Maintain high standards of hospitality, promptly addressing guest feedback and cultivating strong relationships with regular clientele.
- Quality & Compliance: Direct adherence to local health and safety regulations, sanitation protocols, and internal brand guidelines.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with the Executive Chef and culinary team to ensure seamless alignment between kitchen and floor operations. Partner with the bar team with sculpting the beverage program to best suit the food and environment.
- Revenue Drivers: Implement social media strategies to drive interest and traffic. Own the private dining and event program from start to finish.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of General Manager or Senior Operations experience in a high-volume fine dining or upscale casual environment.
- Leadership: Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of driving staff retention, team cohesion, and professional growth.
- Knowledge: Deep knowledge of fine dining service mechanics, wine and beverage pairing programs, and culinary terminology.
- Skills: Excellent financial acumen (P&L analysis, labor optimization, budgeting), clear written and verbal communication, and composure under pressure.
- Certifications: ServSafe Manager certification (or state equivalent).
