INTRODUCTION
Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is seeking Geotechnical Engineering Project Manager for our Napeville, IL office. On our team, you will have an opportunity to be involved in a variety of projects in energy generation and transmission, manufacturing, commercial real estate, transportation, recycling and waste management projects, and others. As a project manager, you will have an opportunity to manage large and small projects in our immediate region as well as across the country. If you join CEC, you will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team of engineers and scientists from many disciplines working together to solve our clients’ problems.
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your geotechnical subsurface investigation project duties will include:
- Coordination and monitoring subsurface drilling investigations
- Reviewing boring logs
- Developing laboratory testing programs
- Interpreting laboratory data, performing geotechnical analyses
- Preparing reports
Construction project duties will include:
- Managing field engineers and technicians
- Reviewing field reports and field test results
- Confirming compliance with project design drawings and specifications
- Meeting with the client and other stakeholders
Potential sign-on and relocation bonus, if applicable.
The posting range for this position is between $84,456 - $154,494 based on experience and location (in addition, CEC offers overtime pay and other great benefits).
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of Geotechnical Engineering experience
- Professional Engineer License (P.E.)
- Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, specializing in Geotechnical Engineering
