Senior Technical Producer Green Card Jobs
Senior Technical Producer roles at U.S. studios and tech companies qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process. Employers document that no qualified U.S. worker is available before filing an I-140 petition on your behalf, leading to permanent residency rather than a temporary work authorization.

We guide development, clear blockers, and push initiatives across the finish line while ensuring our teams are sustainable and have a great collaborative environment.
As a Senior Technical Producer within Development Quality Assurance Services (DQAS), you will lead execution across a strategic portfolio of initiatives focused on scaling Riot’s quality capabilities. This includes service hardening of QATT infrastructure, centralized compatibility and performance testing, and the introduction of AI-enabled workflows for QA. You will operate as the delivery owner across multiple long-lived programs, translating product vision into execution systems that drive measurable outcomes. These programs span infrastructure, vendor-managed execution, and emerging AI capabilities, and require coordination across QATT, product teams, vendors, and DQAS leadership. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the work systems, delivery structures, and operational clarity required to move from strategy to shipped outcomes. This role requires operating in ambiguous, cross-organizational spaces where success depends on creating alignment, managing dependencies, and ensuring consistent delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams.
Responsibilities:
- Translate product strategy into clear execution plans, roadmaps, and measurable milestones, ensuring alignment to player and developer impact
- Drive end-to-end delivery across multiple initiatives, balancing speed, quality, and scope through informed tradeoffs
- Maintain visibility across programs, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and blockers to enable strong decision-making
- Build and operate scalable systems for planning, tracking, reporting, and stakeholder communication
- Establish and evolve delivery models, improving service maturity through measurable performance, reliability, and trust signals
- Standardize processes where it adds value, increasing efficiency, predictability, and clarity across teams
- Manage vendors and key stakeholders end-to-end, resolving risks early and driving adoption through pilots, feedback loops, and repeatable rollout models
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 6+ years of experience as a Technical Producer, Product Manager, Program Manager, or Development Manager in complex technical environments
- Proven experience leading delivery across multi-team or multi-domain initiatives
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and modern development practices (Agile, Lean, etc.)
- Experience building and operating delivery systems (planning, tracking, reporting) at initiative or program level
- Experience managing external vendors or distributed development teams
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, evolving problem spaces
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to translate strategic intent into structured execution and measurable outcomes
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working in QA, testing infrastructure, or developer tooling environments
- Experience with compatibility and performance testing (device labs, hardware matrices, or similar systems)
- Familiarity with AI/ML or LLM-enabled workflows in software development or QA contexts
- Experience building or operating shared services or internal platforms used across multiple teams
- Experience working in vendor-driven or staff-augmented development models
- Background in game development or understanding of game production pipelines

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Green Card Sponsorship as a Senior Technical Producer
Document your production credentials methodically
Compile shipped titles, team sizes you managed, and budget scopes you oversaw before approaching employers. PERM audits often probe whether your experience genuinely satisfies the posted job requirements, so contemporaneous evidence matters more than a polished resume.
Target studios with established PERM filing histories
Search DOL's OFLC disclosure data for employers who have filed PERM applications under production management SOC codes. Companies with repeat filings already have immigration counsel, internal workflows, and budget approval for sponsorship, cutting months off your negotiation.
Clarify EB-2 versus EB-3 eligibility before accepting an offer
EB-2 requires the role to genuinely demand an advanced degree; EB-3 covers bachelor's-level positions. Senior Technical Producer roles vary widely by studio, so confirm with the employer's counsel which category the position supports before you start the PERM clock.
Negotiate green card sponsorship into your offer letter
Ask for an explicit sponsorship commitment in writing before signing, including who covers PERM and I-140 filing costs. Employers are legally permitted to pass attorney fees to employees in some cases, and resolving this at the offer stage avoids disputes after you've already started.
Use Migrate Mate to find employers actively sponsoring green cards
Search Migrate Mate to surface Senior Technical Producer roles at companies with verified green card filing histories. This filters out employers who say they'll 'consider' sponsorship from those who have actually completed PERM and I-140 filings for comparable production roles.
Understand how PERM recruitment timing affects your start date
PERM requires employers to run a DOL-mandated recruitment process before filing, typically taking three to six months before the petition even reaches USCIS. Factor this into your notice period and visa status planning so your current work authorization doesn't lapse mid-process.

Find Senior Technical Producer JobsSenior Technical Producer Green Card Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Senior Technical Producer role qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship?
It depends on how the employer defines the minimum requirements for the position. If the role genuinely requires a master's degree or its equivalent, EB-2 is the appropriate category. Most Senior Technical Producer postings specify a bachelor's degree plus substantial experience, which places them squarely in EB-3 for professionals. Your employer's immigration counsel will confirm the correct classification during the PERM job description drafting stage.
How does green card sponsorship differ from H-1B sponsorship for this role?
The H-1B is a temporary status renewed in three-year increments, subject to annual lottery uncertainty. Green card sponsorship through PERM and an I-140 petition leads to permanent residency with no renewal cycle and no cap lottery at the EB-3 level for most countries. The tradeoff is timeline: PERM plus I-140 typically takes one to two years before you even reach the adjustment of status stage, compared to a few months for an H-1B transfer.
What does the PERM process actually require from a Senior Technical Producer candidate?
PERM is primarily an employer-driven process. Your employer posts the job publicly, documents that no qualified U.S. worker applied, and files an ETA Form 9089 with DOL certifying the prevailing wage and recruitment results. Your role is to ensure your credentials exactly match the minimum requirements stated in the PERM job description, because USCIS will scrutinize any gap between what you were hired for and what your degree or experience actually demonstrates.
How can I find Senior Technical Producer jobs where employers are already committed to green card sponsorship?
Migrate Mate lets you filter specifically for employers with verified green card filing histories in production and technical leadership roles. This is more reliable than asking recruiters whether a company 'might' sponsor, since it surfaces companies that have already completed PERM and I-140 filings for comparable positions rather than those who treat sponsorship as a case-by-case negotiation.
Can I switch employers after my I-140 is approved but before I get my green card?
Yes, under AC21 portability rules, once your I-140 is approved and your adjustment of status application has been pending for 180 days or more, you can move to a same or similar role without losing your priority date. For Senior Technical Producer roles, 'same or similar' is assessed by SOC code and job duties, so a lateral move within production management at a new studio generally qualifies. Confirm the specifics with immigration counsel before accepting any new offer.
