They champion Rubrik on Rubrik and are the first customers of the Engineering teams at Rubrik.

About the role:
This Staff IT Product Manager role will serve as a vital bridge, connecting Rubrik's business strategy with the technical execution of the systems and processes essential for driving the company's Sales and Marketing success.
As a Staff IT Product Manager, you will serve as the strategic architect of our Sales technology ecosystem and the primary guardian of SOX compliance for revenue-impacting systems. While your direct ownership centers on Sales and Finance integrations, you will maintain horizontal oversight across the Marketing and Web tech stacks to ensure a seamless, end-to-end lead-to-cash lifecycle.
You are a "force multiplier" who connects the dots between Sales, Renewals, Finance, Revenue Operations, and Product Org. You are expected to navigate complex technical trade-offs and influence long-term roadmaps through architectural intuition rather than task-level management.
What you'll do:
Sales Systems Ownership: Serve as the primary IT Product Manager for Sales systems, including Salesforce CRM, opportunity management, forecasting, and territory management. Collaborate with the Sales and Renewals business Ops for functional solutions in these domains, and own the roadmap, requirements, and delivery for Sales platform initiatives.
SOX Compliance & IT Controls: Own SOX-related IT deliverables across the GTM systems portfolio, including documentation of IT general controls, support for internal and external audits, and ensuring system changes adhere to change management and access control policies. Act as the primary IT liaison for SOX audit activities.
Marketing & Web Marketing Oversight: Maintain familiarity with the Marketing and Web Marketing technology stack to provide informed oversight, escalation support, and roadmap alignment in partnership with the Marketing Sr. Product Manager. Ensure Marketing systems integrations with Sales and Finance platforms are well-governed and scalable.
Stakeholder Management and Influence: Align product roadmap and priorities with diverse stakeholders across Sales Operations, Finance, Revenue Operations, Marketing, Engineering, and Executive Leadership. Secure buy-in, manage competing priorities, and translate complex system dependencies into clear proposals and decisions.
Business Process Optimization: Identify and drive improvements across end-to-end GTM processes, including quote generation, order booking, and sales forecasting, with an eye toward reducing manual effort and improving data accuracy.
Product Delivery: Manage the full product lifecycle from discovery and requirements gathering (PRDs/User Stories) through UAT and global rollout, ensuring high-quality delivery across Sales and compliance-related initiatives.
Data-Driven Insights: Leverage data to identify trends in sales performance and system health. Proactively surface insights and recommend technical improvements that support business growth and operational efficiency.
Technical Advocacy: Collaborate with Engineering and Enterprise Architects to ensure systems are scalable, secure, and well-integrated across the broader Sales and Marketing stack. Champion sound architectural decisions that reduce technical debt and support long-term growth.
Change Management: Lead change management for major system initiatives, ensuring high adoption through clear communication, intuitive UX design, and robust enablement strategies.
Experience you'll need:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in an IT Product Manager or Business Systems Analyst role, with demonstrated expertise across Sales, Revenue Operations, or Finance systems. Broad familiarity with Marketing technology is a plus.
SOX & Compliance Knowledge: Solid understanding of SOX IT general controls, change management requirements, and audit processes as they apply to enterprise business systems.
Architectural Depth: Experience designing scalable architectures within Salesforce (including CPQ) and across multi-system GTM environments that minimize technical debt and support complex business models.
Domain Knowledge: Proven experience managing integration touchpoints across CRM and ERP platforms. Good understanding of the Sales and Renewals business operational process. General familiarity with Marketing Automation and Web Marketing tools is valued but not required at a deep level.
Data Proficiency: Ability to write SOQL/SQL queries to extract and analyze data; experience with Data Loader and ETL tools for migration and reporting projects.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, including root-cause analysis, audit readiness, and data-driven decision-making across complex system environments.
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with technical teams, Finance, Sales leadership, and executive stakeholders.
Certifications: Salesforce certifications (e.g., CPQ Specialist, Administrator) are highly preferred. SOX or audit-related certifications are a plus.
AI: Familiarity with AI-assisted development and productivity tools (e.g., Claude Code, CoWork) to accelerate delivery cycles and optimize system performance.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding H-1B Visa Sponsorship as an IT Product Manager
Match your degree to the role
USCIS scrutinizes whether your degree field directly supports IT Product Manager duties. A computer science or information systems background strengthens your petition. If your degree is in business, pair it with documented technical coursework or certifications to close any specialty occupation gap.
Target companies with cap-exempt access
Universities, nonprofit research institutions, and government-affiliated organizations can file H-1B petitions outside the lottery cap. An IT Product Manager role at a university's tech division or a federally funded R&D center bypasses registration entirely and gives you a filing path year-round.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified sponsors
Search IT Product Manager roles on Migrate Mate to filter employers by H-1B LCA filing history. This surfaces companies that have already sponsored the role, cutting time spent on employers unlikely to file a petition.
Verify your wage tier before accepting an offer
DOL requires employers to pay at least the prevailing wage for your specific location and job zone. Look up the IT Product Manager wage level for your metro area using the OFLC Wage Search before accepting an offer to ensure the salary meets LCA requirements.
Document cross-functional scope in your job description
USCIS evaluates whether the role genuinely requires a specialized degree. A job description that emphasizes roadmap ownership, technical architecture decisions, and engineering coordination is harder to challenge than one that lists generic coordination tasks.

Find IT Product Manager JobsIT Product Manager H-1B Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Does an IT Product Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for H-1B purposes?
Yes, provided the position requires at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field such as computer science, information systems, or software engineering. USCIS looks at whether the degree is a normal minimum for entry into the role. Generic product management duties without a technology-specific degree requirement can draw a Request for Evidence, so your employer's job description should clearly tie the duties to a technical discipline.
How do I find IT Product Manager employers who actually sponsor H-1B visas?
Search IT Product Manager listings on Migrate Mate, which filters employers by verified H-1B LCA filing history. Companies that have filed Labor Condition Applications for comparable roles are far more likely to sponsor than those with no filing record. Targeting employers with an established H-1B track record for product roles shortens your job search and avoids offers that stall at the sponsorship conversation.
Can my employer file an H-1B for me outside the annual lottery?
Only if the employer is a cap-exempt organization, such as a university, nonprofit research institution, or government-affiliated entity. For-profit tech companies and enterprises are subject to the 85,000-slot cap and must register in March. If you're currently on OPT or another status, your employer can file during the standard registration window for an October 1 start, or explore an O-1 as a bridge if you miss the cycle.
What happens to my H-1B status if I'm laid off as an IT Product Manager?
You have a 60-day grace period from your last day of employment to find a new sponsor, change to another nonimmigrant status, or leave the country. During this window your employer is no longer required to pay your salary, but your status hasn't lapsed yet. Filing a change-of-employer petition or a change-of-status application within those 60 days preserves your lawful presence while the new petition is pending.
Does the job title 'IT Product Manager' affect how USCIS evaluates my H-1B petition?
The title alone isn't determinative, but USCIS cross-references it against O*NET job zone classifications and the duties in your job description. Titles that combine 'product' with a technical qualifier, such as platform, infrastructure, or API product manager, tend to draw less scrutiny because the technical degree requirement is more self-evident. Your employer's LCA should use a specific SOC code that maps to technology occupations rather than a generic management category.
