About the Role
Future Secure AI is looking for a strategic and experienced Head of Talent Acquisition to lead our North American hiring function as part of our People & Culture team. In this role, you'll own the regional talent acquisition strategy end to end, partnering closely with senior leaders across engineering, product, data and commercial functions to deliver quality talent at the speed a high growth, scale up business demands. You'll be focused on building a unified, high performing TA team, designing scalable hiring processes, and ensuring every candidate and hiring manager experiences the calibre that FSAI represents.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the NAM talent acquisition strategy and operating model, partnering with senior leaders to translate hiring demand into clear, prioritized workforce plans across all functions
- Design sourcing channels, evaluation frameworks and talent pipelines that maintain quality as volume grows, driving down time to hire through tighter funnels, faster decision loops and proactive pipeline management
- Own delivery against the hiring plan, reporting on progress, risks and tradeoffs with clear accountability to agreed service levels, and act as a trusted advisor to founders and senior leaders on talent markets and hiring strategy
- Unite recruiters, sourcers and coordinators into one cohesive team, coaching and developing TA capability across sourcing, assessment and stakeholder management
- Equip hiring managers with the tools, training and structured interviewing needed to make fast, fair and confident decisions
- Own and optimize the ATS (Greenhouse), using recruitment metrics including time to hire, cost per hire, pipeline health and quality of hire to continuously refine the approach
- Oversee the offer process, contracting and handover into onboarding so new hires start with momentum
- Build FSAI's reputation as an employer of choice across North American technical talent communities, ensuring compliance with employment law and sponsorship and skilled migration pathways across all markets
- Coordinate with global TA and People teams to maintain aligned standards across regions
Minimum Qualifications
- 7 to 10+ years of experience in a senior talent acquisition or recruitment leadership role
- Strong background in technology, scale up, start up or professional services environments
- Demonstrated track record building and owning a TA strategy that delivers consistency, speed and quality at pace
- Proven experience partnering with highly intelligent, specialist senior leaders and technical workforces
- Experience building, leading and uniting a TA team into one cohesive function
- Strong personal network across North American technical talent communities with a record of proactive direct sourcing
- Deep knowledge of American and Canadian employment laws
- Experience managing an internationally mobile workforce, including sponsorship and skilled migration pathways
- Proficiency owning an ATS and using recruitment data to drive decisions
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a high growth AI or fintech environment
- Experience with Greenhouse ATS
- Familiarity with global TA coordination across multiple regions
