Summary
Information Technology Project Manager IV
What Your Day Would Be Like:
- Lead large, complex IT projects from planning through execution, ensuring clear direction, alignment, and results
- Partner with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to drive progress and solve challenges
- Develop and maintain execution plans that balance scope, schedule, cost, and risk
- Oversee project teams (including other Project Managers) to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Manage multi-year or fast-paced initiatives that involve innovative or high-risk technologies
- Communicate updates, risks, and outcomes to leadership and key partners

Minimum Requirements
Information Technology Project Manager IV
- Bachelors' degree in Information Technology or related field
- PLUS twelve (12) years of prior relevant experience managing large scale IT projects in the area of software applications, IT infrastructure or cybersecurity or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
- Working project management knowledge and experience developing or updating project plans for information technology projects (including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
Preferred Special Skills, Knowledge or Qualifications:
- Experience delivering business results through IT Deployment, excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills
- Experience managing large, complex, high impact projects.
- Extensive understanding of project management processes, principles and methodologies
- Ability to build strong Client/Customer relationships
- Strong critical thinking and creativity skills along with the ability to exercise sound judgment by making decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
- Ability understand needs and values of stakeholders and team members and apply that understanding to motivate behaviors and results
- Experience in managing multi-discipline teams and technical functions
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.
Major Accountabilities
1) Under limited supervision, lead multiple and diverse departments and disciplines to ensure development of highly complex scale project plans, effective resource planning, project estimates, project organization and roles and responsibilities
2) Present comprehensive project plans to project sponsors and management. Obtains all necessary stakeholder support and sponsor and executive approvals.
3) Manage project dependencies, critical path, and monitor and update risk mitigation and contingency plans as necessary
4) Develops project plan documentation, provides status reports, negotiates change orders and adjusts schedules as needed.
5) Develop and conduct formal presentations for assigned projects as required
6) Manage activities within the project team or impacted area/s to ensure project objectives, budget, quality standards and scheduling requirements are met.
7) Ensures project deliverables and overall results meet or exceed sponsor and stakeholder expectations
8) Regularly coaches, mentors, motivates and supervises project team members and contractors and provide performance assessment input as needed, coordinate vendor resources, identify and resolve issues and conflicts within project team
9) Participates in project evaluation to ensure project objectives were met
10) Acts as a mentor to less experienced Project managers
