Quality & Delegation Oversight Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality & Delegation Oversight Analyst to support Quality Management, delegation oversight, and regulatory compliance activities within a healthcare environment. This role will work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and delegated entities to conduct quality reviews, monitor performance, identify compliance risks and operational gaps, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate brings experience in healthcare operations, quality management, auditing, vendor oversight, delegation oversight, or project coordination and is comfortable analyzing information, managing multiple priorities, and communicating findings to a variety of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct audits, assessments, and quality reviews to identify trends, compliance risks, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support ongoing delegation oversight, monitoring, and quality assessment activities.
- Monitor vendor and delegated-entity performance, deliverables, timelines, corrective actions, and outstanding items.
- Review and analyze operational data, documentation, and performance results to identify trends and areas requiring follow-up.
- Create, review, and update member communications and letters to ensure alignment with applicable regulatory, state, federal, and accreditation requirements.
- Prepare reports, executive summaries, presentations, meeting materials, and status updates for internal and external stakeholders.
- Present findings, recommendations, and performance updates to internal teams, leadership, vendors, and delegated partners.
- Track action items and follow up with stakeholders to ensure commitments and corrective actions are completed within established timelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation, reporting tools, and delegation oversight records.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather information and support quality, compliance, and operational initiatives.
- Support process improvement efforts, including the development and documentation of standardized workflows and procedures.
- Assist with special projects and additional Quality Management initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare operations, Quality Management, auditing, vendor management, delegation oversight, project coordination, or a related area preferred.
- Healthcare or health insurance experience strongly preferred.
- Experience working with external vendors, delegated entities, or provider organizations is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience developing professional reports, presentations, and communications for internal and external audiences.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively across teams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
- Ability to appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information.

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in health plan operations, Quality Management, delegation oversight, healthcare auditing, regulatory compliance, vendor oversight, or healthcare project coordination will be particularly well aligned. Experience supporting regulatory or accreditation requirements and working directly with delegated vendors, provider organizations, or other external healthcare partners is a plus.
