Entry Level Power Bi Developer Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level power bi developer job?
Build a portfolio of Power BI reports and dashboards using public datasets, and publish them on GitHub or a personal site so hiring managers can see your work directly. Employers at this level look for DAX basics, data modeling fundamentals, and hands-on experience connecting to sources like Excel or SQL databases. Internships, capstone projects, or self-directed case studies all count. A Microsoft PL-300 certification adds a concrete credential that signals readiness even without full-time experience.
