Job Summary
Under the direction of the Showroom Manager and Chef, we are seeking Back of House (BOH) & Server to support our culinary demonstrations, client training, and special events. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a routine and steady-paced, team-oriented environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
This hybrid role combines back-of-house kitchen support with front-of-house hospitality responsibilities. The successful candidate will assist with event preparation, food service, dishwashing, and maintain a clean, organized workspace before, during, and after training and events.
BOH Duties
- Prepare training and event spaces prior to guest arrival.
- Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, glassware, and small appliances throughout the day.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, prep areas, and storage spaces.
- Restock kitchen supplies, beverages, and event materials.
- Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries.
Hospitality & Event Support
- Serve food and beverages during trainings, client meetings, and networking events.
- Set up and break down buffet stations, dining areas, and meeting spaces.
- Provide attentive and professional customer service to guests, partners, and internal teams.
- Ensure event spaces remain clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout events.
- Support culinary demonstrations and assist presenters if needed.
General Responsibilities
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Maintain a positive, professional attitude while working with clients and team members.
- Assist with additional event-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, food service, catering, restaurant, or event operations preferred.
- Experience with dishwashing and maintaining commercial kitchen cleanliness.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Dependable, proactive, and team-oriented.
Schedule & Flexibility
This position requires approximately 32–40 hours per week, depending on business needs. The typical schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Flexibility is required, as evening hours are expected to support client dinners, networking events, trainings, and special programs. Occasional schedule adjustments may be necessary to accommodate business needs.
This position is contract based employment and it will go through a temp agency.
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
