Summary :
Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is pleased to be able to offer an opportunity for direct contracting for nurses to come and experience what it is like to be part of the Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center team and mission. We are opening to applications from interested nurses who would like to work directly for the organization in a traveler like role.
These nurses will become part of our team as temporary per diem employees for a period of 12 weeks. Nurses will be scheduled as needed in the departments in consultation with the managers of the area and may be assigned to other areas based on business needs. Positions are available on both nights and days.
At the end of the 12 weeks, we welcome you to join our team as a permanent employee in a full time, part time, or regular per diem position. Our talent team will be happy to work with anyone who decides it is time to make Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center your professional home.
Responsibilities :
· Demonstrate system values and integrates them into daily organizational practice. · Actively support patient-centered care with sensitivity and respect for the diversity of human experience. · Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with professional composure. · Ability to influence others' actions and decisions without express authority. · Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, data entry, database experience and other computer related skills.

- At least one year of experience in nursing.
