THE POSITION
Our roster has an opening with your name on it
The Manager of Internal Communications plays a critical role in ensuring an engaged and informed workforce for America’s #1 Sportsbook. Their ability to simultaneously develop and implement various end-to-end multi-channel communication strategies across the business is key to the team’s success. With a strong understanding of FanDuel’s strategy and principles, they support a global set of leaders by crafting messaging that encourages action and participation with the company’s culture across the growing organization. This role reports into the Internal Communications Senior Director.
In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.
THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play
- Develop strategy and own execution of assigned internal communications supporting the publication of team news for all FanDuel employees, and targeted communication for segmented groups
- Partner closely with senior leaders, owning the communications plan and implementation of company-wide programs
- Proactively build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders throughout the business, including FanDuel’s Executive Leadership Team and senior leaders
- Influence new multi-media and technological communication channels for a hybrid workforce, including advanced intranet event streams and in-office engagement opportunities
- Manage FanDuel’s intranet design and approach for a positive employee wayfinding and engagement experience
- Manage and support the growth and development of Internal Communications Associate
- Own and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including internal email program, production agency and internal communications agency
THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years' experience working in internal, corporate, and/or executive communications plus management experience
- Understands and customizes communications for a global audience, using multiple channels and mediums
- Demonstrated success involving change management at a global scale
- Experience drafting and writing executive emails
- Experience with short and long-form creative content development, with experience in storytelling and proactive communications
- Subject matter expertise with intranet platforms such as Interact, Simpplr, Haystack, LumApps
- Email marketing experience using email platforms, including audience segmentation and analysis
- Experience working with leaders and building consensus among multiple internal stakeholders
- Experience with working in a fast-paced, highly matrixed organization, managing multiple projects simultaneously and working autonomously
- Self-starter that thrives in a collaborative environment where you must partner cross-functionally
- Strong grammar skills and meticulous attention to detail

Salary Range:
The applicable salary range for this position is $121,000 - $151,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
