This job location is currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and/or Medically Underserved Areas/Population (MUA/P) Shortage Designation Type.
What You Will Do:
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Interventional Cardiologist to join a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.
- Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
- Inpatient Leadership: Serve as the key admitting, attending, or consulting physician for patients requiring hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses, actively accepting referrals and collaborating closely with other physicians, medical staff, and hospital administration.
- Consultation & Coverage: Provide essential specialty consultation services for both inpatient and outpatient settings, which may include participation in rotational on-call schedules.
- Participates in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested.
- Provides appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.
- Participates in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules.

What You Will Need:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
