This IT Systems Administrator will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support for the entire IT infrastructure for our seven offices across the US including remote staff. This includes servers, networking, Office 365, Exchange Online, endpoints, Tier 2 and 3 support, security threat assessments—all items pertaining to the continuity of systems, servers, and networks.

JOB DUTIES
- Perform regular server updates, patches, and upgrades; administer endpoint systems such as desktops, laptops, surfaces, and servers
- Server administration such as installing and configuration roles, features, managing domain environment such as user accounts, permissions, RBAC, and hybrid O365 Dir Sync.
- Domain Infrastructure management : design, deploy, manage DNS, DHCP, print management, site and services
- Monitor and maintain the backup and recovery strategy for the on-prem and virtual environment; test and document disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity
- Provide hardware and software diagnostics and maintenance, troubleshoot network connectivity issues between sites and subsites, implement and manage network security protocols
- Diagnose and resolve end-user tier 2 or 3 problems that are being assigned by IT Systems Manager and IT Director
- Manage Hyper-converged Nutanix on-prem virtual and cloud environment and ensure virtual servers snapshots are being held twice a day
- Exchange online and O365 administration including Power Automate, mailboxes, distribution groups and connectors
- Monitor email flow, troubleshoot issues, and ensure email gateway security Avanan are in place
- Administer and optimize the overall Office 365 environment including SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Teams
- Power Automate management including design, development, and implementation of automated workflows—as well as integration of Power automates with other O365 services and Crystal server to streamline business processes
- Troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
- Setup and maintenance of Nutanix virtualization environments
- Manage company provided equipment including mobile devices by working directly with vendors while issuing and tracking hardware assignments
- Provide user support for system and application issues
- Research and purchase of systems/equipment to fit business needs in cooperation with IT System Manager
- Stay current on new and emerging technology and best practices
- Work with 3rd party vendors on projects
- Provide support during weekends and after hours
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
- 3-6+ years of professional experience
- One or multiple computing environment certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, MCP
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Must be able to provide support during weekends and after hours
- Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in network systems administration and support
- Knowledge and experience with configuring, administering, and maintaining: Microsoft Hyper-v, Windows Server 2012 - 2022
- Strong communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written, with the capability to make decisions and adapt to change
- Ownership and execution of incident management and system maintenance
- Execution of PowerShell scripting
- Demonstrated lead experience in help desk

- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft technologies (O365, SharePoint, Active Directory including, etc.)
- Strong understanding of virtualization technologies (Nutanix AHV, Hyper-V)
- Strong understanding of domain environments
- Knowledge of security policies and general vulnerability management
- Strong understanding of networking, DNS, DHCP, and network troubleshoots
- Microsoft Azure Entra ID environment and Storage accounts
- Windows server 2012 R2-2022
- MS SQL 2016 & 2019
- Remote support applications (Bomgar)
- Cloud email security platforms (Avanan)
- Ticket tracking systems
- Sage
- Nextiva UCaaS technologies
- Velocloud, Fortigates, FortiAPs, and Arrista switches
- Supporting IOS and Android devices
- Preferred knowledge of construction and financial management software packages such as Timberline, Timberscan, Procure, Prolog
