Most Louisiana employers require a bachelor's degree in information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field, followed by an industry certification such as CISA or CompTIA Security+. Louisiana does not issue a state-specific license for IT compliance roles, so credentials are the primary differentiator. Many candidates build experience through IT auditing or information security positions at Louisiana energy companies, hospital systems, or financial institutions before moving into a dedicated compliance role.
How much do IT compliance analysts make in Louisiana?
IT compliance analysts in Louisiana earn a median of about $70,290 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $39,850 for the lowest 10% to over $119,990 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
