About Us:
The IT Business Systems team oversees the systems development life cycle (SDLC), encompassing stages such as planning, analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance. To achieve these goals, our team structure is divided into distinct, specialized units.
The Project Management team manages the workflow of new project requests. They handle the intake, approval, and oversight of projects within our management system and project portfolio, ensuring smooth progression from inception to completion.
Our Business Applications team plays a crucial role in elevating our organizational capabilities. They provide support, enhancement, and implementation of new systems, constantly working to advance our technological framework.
The Integration team enables data sharing both within and outside the organization. This ensures the efficient and secure integration of disparate data sources, facilitating improved communication and collaboration across different platforms.
Lastly, the Business Intelligence team is committed to fostering data excellence. They are responsible for developing and applying methodologies that improve data reliability and quality across our organization.
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Vice President & Chief Information Officer (CIO), the Director of Information Technology (IT) Business Systems position is responsible for all Business & 3rd party systems, including maintenance, upgrades and performance. Responsible for the Data Engineering teams and the Business Intelligence infrastructure and associated tools. Responsible for all system integrations, interfacing and connections to 3rd party systems. Responsible for the IT Project Management team and managing the overall IT Roadmaps and multiyear plans.This position responsibilities include working with the leadership team to set clear priorities and goals for IT management and production. Develop and manage annual budgets. Manage strategic vendor and technology partner relationships. Manage IT resource allocation, goal/KPI setting, and performance metrics. Define the company's overall business system strategy to support business objectives. Ensure tight collaboration across departments to drive strategic initiatives, including understanding of the alignment between business system strategy, project management, development, and various technology road maps. Create strategic plans and set timelines for evaluation, development, and deployment of all business systems changes and upgrades.
Qualifications:
Education
- College Degree - 4 year In Healthcare, Business, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) discipline, or related field (required)
- Masters Degree In related field (preferred)
Work Experience
- Minimum five (5) years Progressively responsible experience in a leadership role (IT experience preferred) (required)
- Minimum ten (10) years (preferred)erence given to those with experience who have demonstrated a mastery of the job content through success in multiple organizations (preferred)
Skills and Abilities
- Consulting experience may qualify.
- Have a demonstrated and thorough understanding of hospital operations, interdepartmental practices, change management and workflow analysis.
- Served in a leadership role providing expertise in IT tactical and development strategies, implementation of organization approved projects pertaining to applications, programming, interfaces and redesigned workflows.
