Many Texas employers, particularly in healthcare and energy, also value prior help-desk or junior IT support experience as a practical foundation.
How much do IT systems analysts make in Texas?
IT systems analysts in Texas earn a median of about $107,390 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $72,530 for the lowest 10% to over $168,140 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
