Summary
The goal of this position is to give a current BGSU student an introduction to the world of collegiate athletics administration. In the business office, the employee will be responsible for processing payments, reviewing expense reports, assisting with long-term fiscal year budgeting, working directly with coaches and staff, and more. This position provides hands-on experience with the financial and administrative operations that support a Division I athletics department while helping the student develop valuable professional skills. The student worker will also have opportunities to assist with special projects and gain exposure to a variety of business functions within collegiate athletics.

Essential Functions
- Audit department expense reports in Chrome River
- Submit requisitions and receiving reports for department purchases made through Falcons Purch
- Assist with fiscal year financial planning
- Provide support to full-time staff members
- Work directly with coaches and staff members to assist with business office related needs
- Attend meetings when class schedule permits
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Enrolled as a student at BGSU
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Accounting, finance, or other related major preferred
