We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic software engineering team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust backend systems and scalable applications. Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of backend systems using Java, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design system architecture utilizing UML diagrams and system design principles.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web services to support front-end applications built with React, Angular, or other UI frameworks.
- Integrate various databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Microsoft SQL Server to optimize data storage solutions.
- Implement microservices architecture leveraging cloud infrastructure like AWS or Azure for scalable deployment.
- Conduct code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to uphold code quality standards across projects.
- Utilize version control tools such as GitHub, TFS, or SVN within an Agile SDLC environment to manage code repositories efficiently.
Skills
- Extensive experience with Java development including multithreading, application design, and system architecture.
- Proficiency in front-end development using React, Angular, HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and Bootstrap for UI enhancements.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API design, SOAP web services, WCF (Windows Communication Foundation), and XML/JSON data formats.
- Familiarity with application frameworks such as Spring Boot and.NET technologies including ASP.NET <PERSON>.
- Experience working with distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure) for scalable application deployment.
- Deep understanding of relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases like MongoDB for data management solutions.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or TFS to automate build/test/deploy processes.
- Skilled in software engineering best practices including UML modeling, system design for system development, UML diagrams, UML modeling tools.
- Ability to develop APIs for web services using RESTful principles or SOAP protocols; familiarity with WCF is a plus.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies; comfortable working in collaborative team environments.
- Strong debugging skills along with experience in unit testing frameworks to ensure code reliability.
- Familiarity with Linux environments and shell scripting (Bash) for deployment automation tasks.
