Some of the responsibilities of this role are: </span></p><ul><li><p><span>Teach a course on </span><b>Global Data Law</b><span>: </span>This course explores how U.S. and global data laws shape decision-making for governments, businesses, and individuals. Topics include AI, privacy, cybersecurity, intellectual property, social media, biometrics, and cross-border data use, with a focus on real-world legal and regulatory challenges. Through case studies and practical exercises, students learn to apply legal frameworks by assessing risk, developing compliance strategies, and advising on data-related issues. Ideal for those interested in technology law or regulatory compliance, the course emphasizes practical skills and current developments across a broad range of topics.</p></li><li><p><span>The adjunct faculty member will not be asked to attend department meetings. </span></p></li><li><p><span>She or he will be expected to spend some time outside of class to address questions related to the class.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Time taught to be determined by the applicant&#39;s schedule. </span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><u><span>WHAT QUALIFIES YOU FOR THIS ROLE?</span></u></b></p><p></p><p><b><span>Required Degree</span></b><span>: JD required.
