ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Industrial Maintenance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence by performing proactive and reactive maintenance on complex production systems. You will utilize your expertise in mechanical and electrical diagnostics to minimize downtime and optimize the performance of our facility infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive preventative maintenance and repairs on pumps, pneumatic controls, valves, and agitators to ensure peak equipment reliability.
- Maintain plant utility systems, including HVAC units, boilers, compressors, and electrical substations, to support continuous production.
- Utilize precision machine shop tools such as milling machines, grinders, and welding equipment to fabricate and repair essential components.
- Analyze mechanical and electrical failures by interpreting blueprints and schematics to implement effective, long-term corrective solutions.
- Lead the installation and commissioning of new machinery to expand operational capacity.
- Document all maintenance activities and repairs to ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Vocational or Associate’s degree in an electrical or maintenance-related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints for diagnostic purposes.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Prior experience performing maintenance within a GMP, pharmaceutical, or food processing environment.
- Advanced knowledge of industrial control systems and environmental sensor calibration.
