Job description
Wash Depot Holdings, Inc DBA Sparkling Image Car Wash, is seeking an experiencedCar Wash Maintenance Technician for our5 locations in the Indianapolis, IN metro area. This role requires regular travel between locations with occasional travel to Tennessee when needed.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our car wash equipment and facilities. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, where no two days are the same, and be part of a team dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service.
Sparkling Image Car Wash is one of the nation’s largest full-service car wash companies, operating full-service car washes, detail centers & lube centers under Sparkling Image, Eager Beaver and Sparkling Image Express Oil Change brands.
Position Summary: Maintenance Technician will provide preventative maintenance to five full-service, automated, conveyor car wash facilities. This key role is responsible for comprehensive property maintenance, ensuring optimal daily car wash operations and quality of service.
This is a Full-time position 50+ hours per week must have flexibility to work evenings and weekends for repairs and emergency breakdowns. Pay rate is $28.00 to $33.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Skills & Experience:
- Able to perform tunnel repairs and install new equipment
- Support daily operations to ensure quality customer service
- Ability to provide preventive maintenance for full-service automated conveyor car washes
- Ability to perform metal fabrication and welding as required
- Journey level plumbing and electrical maintenance experience
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, pneumatics and car wash conveyor systems
- Ability to diagnose complex malfunctions, develop a repair plan, execute and see repairs through to completion.
- Travel between all stores in the market performing equipment repairs and new equipment installs as needed. Occasional overnight stays between regions.
- Specific experience with commercial car wash systems is a plus
- Able to multi-task and prioritize repairs
- Must have good attention to details, keep work truck and tools organized
- Min. 5 years of advanced level of advanced mechanical experience
- Direct experience with 3 phase electrical high voltage AC/DC distribution panels and PLC Controllers
- Experience repairing Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Plumbing, Electrical Systems
- Basic computer skills
- Use Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) tools to assist with work order management and documentation of repairs
- Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record and the ability to travel from site to site.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and respond to emergency breakdowns
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
