Netrin Health is a population health management services organization that offers high quality healthcare solutions to Accountable Care Organizations (ACO's), Care Transformation Organizations, Clinically Integrated Networks (CIN), Health Systems and Physician practices in the greater Washington Metro Area.

Overview of the Position:

Netrin Health is currently providing opportunities for Internships. Someone with extensive experience in this field. This Internship is an opportunity for highly motivated students and professionals to learn and contribute to health care transformation in Maryland. Short and long-term stints will be considered. Minimum commitment of six months. Start/end dates are flexible. You will serve alongside the practice transformation team. You will have a vast exposure to various value-based care models.

Goals of the Internship:

The Internship will allow students and professionals to join the Program Management Office (PMO) and provide key contributions to the development of the new ACOs / CTOs / Population Health Care Transformation Programs. Depending on the individual's skill set, each internship will be customized to maximize the individual's opportunity to learn and gain valuable work experience.

This position will provide a variety of support to the PMO staff to include;

· Health IT and Data Analytics

· Business Development

· Medical Practice Transformation Assistance

· Quality Management

· Program Level Analyses

Specific tasks may include the following:

· Data analyses for the Project Team Monthly / Quarterly / Annual report(s)

· Development of practice resources and data comparison tools

· Presentation development

· Practice transformation strategy and technical assistance scripts

· Communication to Program Participant(s)

· Data analyses to identify priority provider groups for outreach

· Conference and meeting logistics

Minimum Qualifications:

· Education: A Masters's degree from an accredited college or university.

· Note: Eighteen (18) credit hours towards a Master’s degree in Health Sciences, Health Care Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Public Policy or closely related field may be substituted for the required experience.

Desired Qualifications:

Candidates should possess:

· Other Skills: Scheduling, summarizing meetings, interpersonal communications, multi-tasking, web/marketing, writing; presenting

· Preferred: Computer Skills: MS Office programs (Excel analysis), Google Drive programs,

The ideal candidate will have knowledge or experience in the health care field and be highly motivated to contribute to implementing health care innovation in Maryland. Candidate should be knowledgeable about health care transformation such as value-based payment, primary care, health and hospital systems, and trends in the delivery of health care. (Knowledge of the provider landscape in Maryland including primary care practices, hospitals, and Accountable Care Organizations is highly desired.)

Licenses:

Interns may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Interns assigned such duties may be required to possess a motor vehicle driver’s license.

Work Authorization: U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident preferred.

Pay: Up to $500.00 per month
