Who's Hiring

Manufacturing Jobs in Albuquerque: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a manufacturing job in Albuquerque?
Focus your search on Albuquerque's strongest hiring sectors: aerospace and defense suppliers near Kirtland Air Force Base, semiconductor and electronics manufacturers along the Rio Rancho border, and food and beverage producers in the South Valley. Familiarity with lean manufacturing, CNC operation, or quality inspection gives candidates a clear edge here, as does any experience with government-contract production environments common to the metro.
Which companies hire manufacturings in Albuquerque?
Employers hiring manufacturings in Albuquerque right now include Curia, CVI Laser, and Kairos Power, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of November 2026. Albuquerque's manufacturing base includes a mix of large defense contractors, semiconductor fabs, and mid-size specialty producers supplying the aerospace and energy sectors.
Are there remote manufacturing jobs in Albuquerque?
Yes, though remote availability is limited by nature since most manufacturing roles require on-site equipment operation or floor supervision. About 0% of manufacturing openings tied to Albuquerque are remote or hybrid as of November 2026, with most remote-eligible roles falling in production planning, supply chain coordination, or quality systems management rather than hands-on assembly or fabrication.
How can I get a manufacturing job in Albuquerque with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Albuquerque is applying for production associate or assembly technician roles at the city's food manufacturers and electronics contract shops, which regularly hire without prior experience and train on the job. Central New Mexico Community College's manufacturing programs also connect students directly to local employers. Demonstrating mechanical aptitude, reliability, and willingness to work rotating shifts strengthens any entry-level application in this market.
