The field has no state-issued license or registration requirement in Alabama, so hiring decisions hinge on education, analytical skills, and demonstrated project experience. Many Alabama employers, particularly in Birmingham's financial services sector and Huntsville's defense industry, value candidates who combine a quantitative degree with hands-on research or data analysis coursework.
How much do market research analysts make in Alabama?

Which Alabama cities have the most market research analyst jobs?

Birmingham drives the largest share because of its concentration of financial institutions, hospital systems, and regional corporate headquarters, while Huntsville's rapid growth in aerospace and defense has created steady demand for analysts supporting government contracts and technology companies.
