Entry Level Marketing Data Analyst Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level marketing data analyst job?
Entry level marketing data analyst roles prioritize demonstrated skills over years on a resume. Employers at this level look for hands-on experience with tools like Excel, SQL, or Google Analytics, plus the ability to translate data into a clear marketing story. A portfolio showing a campaign analysis, A/B test breakdown, or dashboard you built from scratch gives you a concrete edge over candidates with no tangible work to show.
Which companies hire entry level marketing data analysts?
Companies hiring entry level marketing data analysts right now include Northrop Grumman, Ralph Lauren, and Kaiser Permanente, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a wide range of employers, including fast-growing startups, mid-size e-commerce brands, and large consumer companies that run structured analyst programs designed to develop junior talent from the ground up.
Are there remote entry level marketing data analyst jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by employer and role type. About 15% of entry level marketing data analyst openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, making this one of the more flexible entry points for new analysts. Hybrid arrangements are especially common at larger companies, while fully remote roles tend to appear more often at startups and digital-first organizations.
Are these new grad marketing data analyst jobs?
Yes, the listings on this page include new grad, recent graduate, and junior marketing data analyst roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it explicitly welcomes zero to two years of experience, counts internships or academic projects toward the requirement, or accepts a portfolio in place of full-time work history. If you graduated recently or are switching into analytics for the first time, these are the roles to target.
Which industries hire the most entry level marketing data analysts?
Entry Level marketing data analyst roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Electronics & Hardware, and Retail, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Those sectors drive hiring at this level because they run high volumes of digital campaigns, need analysts who can measure performance quickly, and tend to have structured onboarding programs that bring junior candidates up to speed without requiring deep prior experience.
