Marketing data analyst roles in Kentucky do not require a state-issued license or registration. Most employers hire candidates with a bachelor's degree in marketing, business analytics, statistics, or a closely related field. Kentucky's larger employers, particularly in Louisville's healthcare and consumer goods sectors, favor candidates who can demonstrate hands-on experience with SQL, data visualization tools, and digital analytics platforms through coursework, internships, or independent projects.
How much do marketing data analysts make in Kentucky?
Marketing data analysts in Kentucky earn a median of about $61,480 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $37,970 for the lowest 10% to over $103,300 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire marketing data analysts in Kentucky?
Companies currently hiring marketing data analysts in Kentucky include Bath Concepts Independent Dealers, United Way, and Ryder System, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Kentucky's strongest hiring tends to cluster around Louisville-based healthcare and retail headquarters, where in-house marketing analytics teams are well established.
Which Kentucky cities have the most marketing data analyst jobs?
Louisville, Lexington, and Kentucky account for the most marketing data analyst openings in Kentucky. Louisville leads because it is home to the headquarters of major healthcare and consumer brands that maintain large in-house analytics functions, while Lexington draws demand from its university-linked research institutions and regional insurance and financial services firms.

About 46% of marketing data analyst openings tied to Kentucky are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting the role's analytical and digital nature. Campaign reporting, attribution modeling, and dashboard development are the tasks most commonly performed fully remotely.
How can I get hired as a marketing data analyst in Kentucky with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying to junior or associate analyst roles at Louisville's large consumer and healthcare employers, which frequently onboard recent graduates from University of Kentucky or University of Louisville business and data programs. Lateral moves from roles like marketing coordinator, business analyst intern, or data technician are common.
