Metro United Way Vision and Mission The vision of Metro United Way is that our regional community will be the most vital, caring community in the nation. Our mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of our community.
Metro United Way (MUW) is a force for positive change. We work every day to lift our community by mobilizing people and maximizing resources to advance opportunities and equity for all. MUW brings together businesses, nonprofits, government agencies, foundations, and individuals to engage in the kinds of collaboration that changes lives. With this support, we are uniquely positioned to make a significant, lasting impact in our fight for the education, financial independence, and health of every person in the seven-county region we serve.
For more than one hundred years, MUW has united and empowered communities by investing in the full potential of individuals and families to ensure positive, sustainable change. We use data-driven insights to identify our community’s greatest needs and address systemic challenges with a focus on advancing equity and sharing opportunities for all. Together, we fight to improve the disparities that persist in early care and education, economic mobility, home ownership, racial equity, and public policy in Jefferson, Bullitt, Oldham and Shelby counties in Kentucky and Clark, Floyd, and Harrison counties in Indiana.
MUW has undergone a major shift with its impact model, focusing on three distinct pillars: Thriving Kids, Strong Households, and Equitable Community. Building on its core strength of mobilizing the caring power of communities, MUW has re-imagined the civic engagement and impact it can have in the region. However, we continue to unite community partners around critical programs and initiatives tailored to meet the specific needs of each community. These include programs and initiatives in early childhood development, economic empowerment & mobility, policy advocacy to support systemic reform, workforce development, homelessness prevention, mentoring and facilitation of neighborhood networking. In 2020, MUW received a one-time gift of $20 million from activist and philanthropist MacKenzie Scott, which was a testament to its continuous investment in programs and services that combat racial and social injustice.
There is no single solution, and we strongly believe that the key to social change is working together beyond individual efforts to impact widespread progress. That is why our approach is so effective - we are on the ground, leading collective action that drives results at scale.

Clinical Data Analyst Jobs in Kentucky: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a clinical data analyst in Kentucky?
Start with a bachelor's degree in health informatics, biostatistics, nursing, or a life science field, as Kentucky employers consistently require a four-year credential for this role. Kentucky does not issue a state license specific to clinical data analysts, so hiring decisions hinge on credentials like the Certified Clinical Data Manager designation and hands-on experience with electronic data capture platforms. Building skills in SAS or SQL and targeting academic medical centers in Louisville or Lexington is the most direct path into the field here.
How much do clinical data analysts make in Kentucky?
Clinical data analysts in Kentucky earn a median of about $91,760 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $61,990 for the lowest 10% to over $156,480 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire clinical data analysts in Kentucky?
Kentucky clinical data analyst roles are posted by Turner Construction Company, Speechify, and CVS Health and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Kentucky's concentration of large integrated health systems and managed care organizations means hiring activity is relatively consistent year-round rather than driven by short project cycles.
Which Kentucky cities have the most clinical data analyst jobs?
Louisville, Lexington, and Frankfort lead Kentucky for clinical data analyst openings. Louisville dominates because it anchors the state's largest hospital systems and is home to Humana's corporate headquarters, while Lexington draws demand from UK HealthCare and the University of Kentucky's research enterprise, and smaller markets reflect regional hospital networks and contract research activity serving those anchor institutions.
Are there remote clinical data analyst jobs in Kentucky?
Yes, and more than most healthcare roles, since the work is desk-based and data-driven rather than patient-facing. About 48% of clinical data analyst openings tied to Kentucky are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting the field's strong compatibility with distributed work arrangements. Trial data management, registry reporting, and biostatistics support are the functions most consistently offered on a remote or hybrid basis.
How can I get hired as a clinical data analyst in Kentucky with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a data coordinator or clinical research coordinator role, which major Kentucky health systems including Norton Healthcare and UK HealthCare post regularly and use to develop analysts internally. Completing a health informatics certificate, building a portfolio project in REDCap or SAS, and targeting these coordinator titles puts you in the pipeline. Humana and regional contract research organizations also hire junior data associates who rotate through analytical functions before advancing to a full analyst designation.
Where can I find and apply to clinical data analyst jobs in Kentucky?
You can find and apply to clinical data analyst jobs in Kentucky on Migrate Mate, which lists current Kentucky openings across health systems, managed care organizations, and research institutions. Find roles that fit your experience and apply directly to the employers posting them.
