The Global & National Security Policy Institute (GNSPI) brings together global and national security-related courses, research, and programs at the University of New Mexico in a coherent whole under one umbrella to serve the entire institution—students and faculty—across its several campuses. The GNSPI mission is to improve security policy by educating thoughtful, ethical practitioners to navigate an uncertain security future and shaping the debate around pressing security issues in four focus areas: Critical & Emerging Technology Policy, National Security Strategy & Policy, Intelligence Studies, and Transnational Security Policy.
Our partnerships with New Mexico’s premier national laboratories provide the intellectual basis for understanding the threats to national security, particularly in technology and global “commons” (e.g., space, climate, food & water, and energy resources), and their role in international relations. Our graduates are educated in the consequences of the global diffusion of technology and communications. Our objective is to improve the nation’s capacity to make ethical policy judgements about what should be done, and about what should not be done. We intend to expand the thinking that defines the security needs of the United States and of the world.

Marketing Operations Specialist Jobs in New Mexico: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a marketing operations specialist in New Mexico?
Most marketing operations specialist roles in New Mexico require a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or communications, though no state-issued license applies to the role. Employers in Albuquerque and Santa Fe consistently prefer candidates who hold platform certifications from providers like HubSpot or Salesforce, since those credentials are directly tied to the tools used on the job. Building a portfolio of campaign workflow examples or automation builds strengthens applications considerably in the New Mexico market.
How much do marketing operations specialists make in New Mexico?
Marketing operations specialists in New Mexico earn a median of about $61,950 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $41,600 for the lowest 10% to over $98,060 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire marketing operations specialists in New Mexico?
Employers hiring marketing operations specialists in New Mexico right now include University of New Mexico, Santa Fe Animal Shelter, and Southwest Womens Oncology/Optimum, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. New Mexico's mix of federal contractors, regional healthcare systems, and mission-driven nonprofits means openings appear across a wider range of organization types than in purely commercial markets.
Which New Mexico cities have the most marketing operations specialist jobs?
Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and New Mexico lead New Mexico for marketing operations specialist openings. Albuquerque dominates because it anchors the state's largest concentration of healthcare systems, financial institutions, and federal contractor offices, while Santa Fe draws openings from state government agencies and arts and tourism organizations, and Las Cruces reflects growth tied to New Mexico State University and regional business services.
Are there remote marketing operations specialist jobs in New Mexico?
Yes, and more than most fields. Marketing operations is fundamentally desk and platform work, so it translates well to remote arrangements. About 50% of marketing operations specialist openings tied to New Mexico are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how broadly employers have accepted distributed teams for this role. Automation management and reporting tasks in particular are most commonly performed fully remote.
How can I get hired as a marketing operations specialist in New Mexico with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving laterally from a marketing coordinator or digital marketing assistant role, which several Albuquerque employers use as a feeder track into operations-focused work. Presbyterian Healthcare Services and large state government offices in Santa Fe regularly post junior marketing or communications roles that expose candidates to the CRM and automation tools central to marketing operations. Completing a recognized platform certification, such as HubSpot's Marketing Hub certification, gives candidates a concrete credential that offsets limited professional experience in New Mexico hiring decisions.
Where can I find and apply to marketing operations specialist jobs in New Mexico?
You can find and apply to marketing operations specialist jobs in New Mexico on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings across the state. Search the available roles, identify the ones that match your experience and location preferences, and apply directly through each listing.
