Student Intermediate Level
The Global & National Security Policy Institute (GNSPI) brings together global and national security-related courses, research, and programs at the University of New Mexico in a coherent whole under one umbrella to serve the entire institution—students and faculty—across its several campuses. The GNSPI mission is to improve security policy by educating thoughtful, ethical practitioners to navigate an uncertain security future and shaping the debate around pressing security issues in four focus areas: Critical & Emerging Technology Policy, National Security Strategy & Policy, Intelligence Studies, and Transnational Security Policy.
Our partnerships with New Mexico’s premier national laboratories provide the intellectual basis for understanding the threats to national security, particularly in technology and global “commons” (e.g., space, climate, food & water, and energy resources), and their role in international relations. Our graduates are educated in the consequences of the global diffusion of technology and communications. Our objective is to improve the nation’s capacity to make ethical policy judgements about what should be done, and about what should not be done. We intend to expand the thinking that defines the security needs of the United States and of the world.

Marketing Account Manager Jobs in New Mexico: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a marketing account manager in New Mexico?
Marketing account manager roles in New Mexico do not require a state-issued license. Most employers expect a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or business, followed by experience in client services or agency account work. Building a portfolio of campaign results and client case studies strengthens your candidacy. New Mexico's large government contractors and healthcare networks often prefer candidates who understand regulated-industry communications, so relevant sector experience is a practical differentiator.
Which companies hire marketing account managers in New Mexico?
New Mexico marketing account manager roles are posted by University of New Mexico, Santa Fe Animal Shelter, and Southwest Womens Oncology/Optimum and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. New Mexico's mix of federal contractors, healthcare systems, and regional agencies creates steady, year-round demand for account management talent.
Which New Mexico cities have the most marketing account manager jobs?
Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and New Mexico have the most marketing account manager openings in New Mexico. Albuquerque drives the bulk of listings as the state's largest metro, anchored by healthcare systems, federal contractors, and a growing tech sector, while Santa Fe's government agencies and arts-driven economy and Las Cruces's proximity to NMSU and regional businesses account for additional concentration.
Are there remote marketing account manager jobs in New Mexico?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 67% of marketing account manager openings tied to New Mexico are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how well the role translates to digital collaboration. Client strategy, campaign reporting, and account planning are the tasks most commonly performed fully remote, while client onboarding and in-person presentations are the parts most likely to require occasional local presence.
How can I get hired as a marketing account manager in New Mexico with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is an account coordinator or marketing assistant role at an Albuquerque agency or a marketing department within a large New Mexico employer like a healthcare system or university. Presbyterian Healthcare Services, the University of New Mexico, and regional digital agencies post junior and associate-level openings that serve as a direct on-ramp. A portfolio showing campaign results, even from internships or student projects, along with a Google Analytics or HubSpot certification, gives candidates without full-time experience a concrete edge.
Where can I find and apply to marketing account manager jobs in New Mexico?
You can find and apply to marketing account manager jobs in New Mexico on Migrate Mate, which lists current New Mexico openings. Search the listings, find roles that match your experience and location preference, and apply directly to the ones that fit.
