Marketing Account Manager Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a marketing account manager in Georgia?
Most Georgia employers require a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or advertising as the foundation for this role. There is no state-issued license or registration specific to marketing account managers in Georgia. Candidates typically build their path through agency internships or entry-level coordinator roles, then advance by demonstulating measurable client results. Earning certifications such as Google Ads or HubSpot strengthens candidacy, and Georgia's large agency and corporate marketing community in metro Atlanta provides consistent entry points.
Which companies hire marketing account managers in Georgia?
Employers hiring marketing account managers in Georgia right now include ELIOR, Audacy, and C-4 Analytics, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Georgia's mix of Fortune 500 corporate headquarters, regional advertising agencies, and healthcare and fintech marketing teams generates steady, year-round hiring across experience levels.
Which Georgia cities have the most marketing account manager jobs?
Atlanta, Georgia, and Albany have the most marketing account manager openings in Georgia. Atlanta dominates as the state's corporate and agency hub, home to major headquarters and a dense concentration of full-service agencies, while Alpharetta's technology corridor and Savannah's growing creative and tourism-driven economy generate consistent demand outside the capital.
Are there remote marketing account manager jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 100% of marketing account manager openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how much of the work, client communication, campaign coordination, and reporting, happens through digital tools. Strategy, reporting, and digital campaign oversight are the functions most commonly offered on a fully remote basis.
How can I get hired as a marketing account manager in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a junior account coordinator or marketing coordinator role at a Georgia agency or in-house marketing department. Large Atlanta-area employers such as Cox Enterprises and Publicis Groupe, along with regional agencies in Buckhead and Midtown, regularly bring on coordinators who come from adjacent roles in customer success, communications, or event marketing. Building a portfolio of campaign results, even from internships or freelance projects, and holding a Google Ads or HubSpot certification gives candidates without direct account management experience a concrete edge.
Where can I find and apply to marketing account manager jobs in Georgia?
You can find and apply to marketing account manager jobs in Georgia on Migrate Mate, which lists current Georgia openings from employers across the state. Find roles that fit your experience and location, then apply directly to the employers posting them.
