Performance Marketing Manager Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a performance marketing manager in Georgia?
A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, advertising, or a related field is the standard entry point for this role in Georgia, and no state-issued license is required. Georgia employers, particularly those in Atlanta's dense technology and consumer-goods corridor, expect candidates to demonstrate hands-on platform experience with Google Ads and Meta Ads alongside a portfolio of measurable campaign results. Platform certifications from Google and Meta strengthen an application significantly in the Georgia market.
How much do performance marketing managers make in Georgia?
Performance marketing managers in Georgia earn a median of about $160,760 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $94,390 for the lowest 10% to over $277,180 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire performance marketing managers in Georgia?
Employers hiring performance marketing managers in Georgia right now include Sage, Velosio, and Crisp Video, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Georgia's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters and fast-growing fintech and digital-retail companies means the pipeline of open roles turns over regularly across both large enterprise teams and in-house agency structures.
Which Georgia cities have the most performance marketing manager jobs?
Atlanta and Savannah account for the largest share of performance marketing manager openings in Georgia. Atlanta dominates because it houses the headquarters and major regional offices of large consumer brands, media companies, and financial services firms that maintain sizable in-house performance marketing teams, while Alpharetta's tech-company campuses and Savannah's growing logistics and e-commerce operations add steady secondary demand.
Are there remote performance marketing manager jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 50% of performance marketing manager openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how well the analytical and platform-management work translates to distributed teams. The parts of the role most commonly done remotely include campaign optimization, reporting, and cross-functional meetings, while on-site expectations tend to apply to roles embedded in retail or media production environments.
How can I get hired as a performance marketing manager in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a coordinator or specialist role in paid search or paid social, which large Georgia-based employers such as The Home Depot and Cox Enterprises staff on a recurring basis. Candidates coming from adjacent roles in email marketing, SEO, or marketing analytics have a strong lateral path. Building a Google Ads or Meta Ads certification, completing a portfolio project with documented results, and targeting Georgia's active startup and e-commerce sector for junior roles accelerates the transition.
Where can I find and apply to performance marketing manager jobs in Georgia?
You can find and apply to performance marketing manager jobs in Georgia on Migrate Mate, which lists current Georgia openings across Atlanta, Alpharetta, Savannah, and remote positions tied to Georgia-based employers. Find the roles that fit your experience and specialization and apply directly.
