Performance Marketing Manager Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a performance marketing manager in Texas?
Performance marketing managers in Texas do not require a state-issued license or certification to practice. The typical path begins with a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or communications, followed by hands-on experience in digital advertising or analytics roles. Texas employers place strong weight on platform certifications such as Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, and HubSpot, which candidates can earn independently. Building a demonstrable record of campaign results is the most direct route into management-level positions.
How much do performance marketing managers make in Texas?
Performance marketing managers in Texas earn a median of about $147,880 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $81,820 for the lowest 10% to over $259,200 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire performance marketing managers in Texas?
Employers hiring performance marketing managers in Texas right now include Care, Citi, and Amazon Web Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Texas's density of technology firms, regional retailers, and financial services companies means demand for performance marketers stays relatively consistent throughout the year.
Which Texas cities have the most performance marketing manager jobs?
Austin, Dallas, and Irving have the most performance marketing manager openings in Texas. Austin's concentration of SaaS and tech companies drives much of the demand there, while Dallas's large retail, financial services, and media headquarters anchor that market, and Houston's energy, healthcare, and logistics sectors create a distinct but equally active hiring base for performance marketers.
Are there remote performance marketing manager jobs in Texas?
Yes, and more than most fields, since performance marketing work is primarily analytical and platform-based rather than requiring a physical presence. About 21% of performance marketing manager openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting broader trends in digital marketing hiring. Paid media management and reporting roles tend to be the most consistently remote, while positions that involve close collaboration with in-house creative or product teams are more likely to require on-site or hybrid arrangements.
How can I get hired as a performance marketing manager in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into a coordinator or specialist role in paid search or social advertising and building measurable results before stepping into management. Large Texas-based employers like Dell, Whole Foods Market, and Charles Schwab hire marketing coordinators and digital marketing associates who grow into performance-focused roles. Earning platform certifications through Google Ads and Meta Blueprint strengthens early applications significantly, and a portfolio showing actual campaign data, even from freelance or university projects, matters more to Texas hiring managers than seniority alone.
Where can I find and apply to performance marketing manager jobs in Texas?
You can find and apply to performance marketing manager jobs in Texas on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings tied to the Texas market. Search the listings, find the roles that fit your background and target location, and apply directly to the ones that match.
