Marketing Operations Specialist Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a marketing operations specialist in Texas?
Most marketing operations specialists in Texas enter the field with a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related discipline. Texas employers strongly favor candidates who hold platform certifications from Salesforce, HubSpot, or Adobe Marketo, which are vendor-administered and available online. Many professionals move into the role laterally from marketing coordinator, sales operations, or digital marketing analyst positions at Texas technology, healthcare, or financial services companies.
How much do marketing operations specialists make in Texas?
Marketing operations specialists in Texas earn a median of about $72,520 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $37,640 for the lowest 10% to over $135,710 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire marketing operations specialists in Texas?
Employers hiring marketing operations specialists in Texas right now include Sam Houston State University, CHATSWORTH PRODUCTS, and Chatsworth Products, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Texas's concentration of enterprise technology companies, large health systems, and national financial services firms means steady, recurring demand for this role across the state.
Which Texas cities have the most marketing operations specialist jobs?
Huntsville, Georgetown, and Austin have the most marketing operations specialist openings in Texas. Austin's technology and SaaS sector drives its volume, while Dallas's density of corporate headquarters in financial services, retail, and logistics fuels consistent demand, and Houston's energy, healthcare, and professional services industries anchor its listings.
Are there remote marketing operations specialist jobs in Texas?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 40% of marketing operations specialist openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting how thoroughly the role's core work, including platform configuration, data analysis, and campaign building, can be done outside a physical office. Roles requiring live sales team collaboration or CRM administration tend to favor hybrid arrangements over fully remote.
How can I get hired as a marketing operations specialist in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is starting as a marketing coordinator or sales operations associate at a Texas technology or healthcare company, then building hands-on platform experience. Large Texas employers including Dell, USAA, and Texas Health Resources hire for entry-level marketing roles that feed into operations functions. Earning a free HubSpot or Salesforce administrator certification before applying gives candidates with limited experience a concrete, verifiable credential that consistently moves resumes forward.
Where can I find and apply to marketing operations specialist jobs in Texas?
You can find and apply to marketing operations specialist jobs in Texas on Migrate Mate, which lists current Texas openings. Find roles that fit your experience and location and apply directly to the ones that match.
