Sales Operations Lead Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a sales operations lead in Texas?
Most sales operations leads in Texas start with a bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field, then build experience in sales support, business analyst, or inside sales roles before moving into operations leadership. Texas does not require a state-issued license for this role. Employers in Austin and Dallas commonly look for candidates with hands-on CRM experience and a background in process improvement or revenue analytics before considering someone for a lead position.
Which companies hire sales operations leads in Texas?
Employers hiring sales operations leads in Texas right now include American Eagle Outfitters, Belk, and Hajoca Corporation, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Texas's large base of technology, energy services, and healthcare technology companies creates consistent demand for operations professionals who can scale sales processes across high-growth teams.
Which Texas cities have the most sales operations lead jobs?
Austin, Dallas, and Fort Worth have the most sales operations lead openings in Texas. Austin's concentration of enterprise software and SaaS companies drives a large share of postings, while Dallas benefits from corporate headquarters in financial services and telecom, and Houston's energy sector and medical center create steady demand for operations professionals supporting complex sales cycles.
Are there remote sales operations lead jobs in Texas?
Yes, and more than most fields, because the core work of a sales operations lead, including CRM management, reporting, and process design, is well suited to remote environments. About 17% of sales operations lead openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting the analytical and systems-focused nature of the role. Positions that require close coordination with field sales teams or in-person onboarding tend to be hybrid rather than fully remote.
How can I get hired as a sales operations lead in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving from a sales coordinator, business development representative, or sales analyst role into an operations function. Large Texas technology employers in Austin and Dallas regularly hire for sales operations analyst or coordinator roles that develop into lead positions. Building proficiency in Salesforce, earning a Salesforce Administrator certification, and demonstrating experience with pipeline reporting or quota tracking are the credentials that give candidates without a formal operations title a competitive edge.
Where can I find and apply to sales operations lead jobs in Texas?
