INTRODUCTION
The Marketing Communications Manager plans and executes the marketing communications initiatives that support and align with the strategic goals for all business segments of the company. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing Communications, this role actively manages the ongoing marketing communications tactics while partnering with product marketing and sales leaders to support customer activities/requests, internal marketing communications to the sales team and external customer marketing campaigns. This role works closely with the entire Corporate Marketing and Communications team to ensure that marketing initiatives are aligned with the company's overall strategic growth goals.
This position is required to be on-site in our Alpharetta office daily.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Leads the execution of all day-to-day marketing communication activities from start to finish, including product launches, direct marketing campaigns, customer communications, trade shows/customer events, advertising, website product content and marketing collateral content creation and maintenance.

Manage and coordinate the execution and logistics of trade shows and customer events to achieve business objectives.

Collaborate with company stakeholders to define the strategy and event requirements.

Lead the booth design process with exhibit partners and internal team to design booth structure and graphics and manage event logistics.

Develop and manage a comprehensive event project plan for all setup tasks, including communication, sponsorships, live event content/panels, meeting schedules, hospitality events, promotional items, digital and printed support, etc.

Work closely as the first point of contact with the product marketing and sales leadership to develop compelling product content, including marketing collateral, sales communications, and customer communications.

Partner closely with product marketing to create and manage the marketing communications plans and timelines for product launches, product enhancement rollouts, customer growth programs and initiatives.

Analyze market research to better understand our customers’ needs, competitor landscape and market segment trends in order to better communicate our key differentiated messages.

Coordinate VOC (voice of the customer) research for new product launches, working closely with the product and sales team to identify research prospects and development of interview guides. Integrate resulting messaging guides into marketing communications materials.

Manage product-related content and updates for customers and internal touch points, as well as additional sales enablement support tools.

Position yourself as a “thought partner” to the leaders of the product segments in order to create market differentiation and value creation.

Lead monthly collaboration meetings for the respective business segment.

Participate in the planning and lead the execution of paid media campaigns, including the design and submission of creative materials, associated URLs and other content.

Execute and analyze marketing communications programs to ensure effectiveness. Provide metrics to determine effectiveness and recommendations for improvement.

Lead the sourcing and acquisition of wearables and premium and promotional items for the company. Establish and manage the relationship with chosen partner and develop and execute the company store.

Own the relationship with outside marketing service providers to manage inventories and provide best-in-class service to our company’s stakeholders.

Help promote uniformity and consistency of the brand across all of Stryten’s business divisions and related companies.

Reconcile and track monthly marketing budget.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
-
Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism or communications, and/or 6-8 years of proven experience in a fast-paced communications or marketing-related environment.

Previous trade show/live event experience preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be comfortable with communicating and presenting to all levels within the organization.

Previous experience coordinating with cross-functional departments like Product Marketing, PMO, Engineering and Sales Departments.

Understanding of graphic design and the printing process.

Experience or knowledge of these tools: Smartsheet, Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud.

Self-motivated, good at taking initiative and comfortable operating under a degree of ambiguity and work both independently and as part of a team.

Ability to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, set goals and enforce deadlines while maintaining flexibility to re-assess and re-prioritize.

This role requires a high level of creativity, strategic thinking, attention to detail and project management skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Up to 20% travel, with occasional weekend work.
