About Par Global
Par Global is a family-owned wholesale distributor and importer of geosynthetics, erosion control products, and engineered industrial textiles. We supply civil and environmental contractors, distributors, and industrial end users across the United States and Canada. We run a dual-channel supply model — direct container shipment from our overseas manufacturing partners, plus hub-and-spoke distribution from our Cornelia, Georgia warehouse. That gives our customers factory-direct pricing with the responsiveness of domestic stock. We are small enough that you will have direct access to ownership, and decisions get made quickly.
About the role
We are hiring a Technical Sales Representative to grow sales across our environmental product lines — the liner, drainage, and containment systems used in landfill, mining, and energy projects. Atlanta-based candidates are preferred, but we will consider strong remote candidates anywhere in the territory. This is a home-office based role. You will own a territory: prospecting new accounts, growing existing ones, and getting Par Global products specified at the design stage. You will need a valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation, as customer visits and job site calls account for more than 20% of a typical work week.
- Conduct on-site customer visits, job site calls, and plant visits with new and existing customers in your territory
- Grow sales with an existing base of accounts while prospecting to expand it
- Sell the Par Global environmental product portfolio: non-woven geotextiles, geonets and drainage composites, geosynthetic clay liners (GCL), HDPE and LLDPE geomembranes, and woven-coated RPE and PVC liner
- Provide technical guidance on product selection, specification compliance, and application fit to engineers, contractors, and purchasing agents
- Work with design engineers, consultants, and owners to get Par Global products specified during the project design phase
- Build and sustain relationships with decision makers and influencers at every level of a customer organization
- Prepare quotes, take-offs, and proposals; negotiate pricing within established margin guidelines; coordinate order execution with operations
- Manage the container sourcing timeline with customers — communicate lead times, coordinate direct-shipment programs, and forecast demand far enough ahead to support overseas production and transit schedules
- Forecast, prospect, and bid for new business across customers, markets, and additional product opportunities
- Share market, pricing, and competitor intelligence across the organization
- Partner with customers, vendors, Credit, and A/R to resolve service issues quickly
- Represent Par Global at industry trade shows, association events, and customer functions
- Help train and mentor junior team members
What you'll bring
- College degree in a related discipline
- 2–5 years of sales experience in the landfill, mining, or energy industries preferred
- Consultative or solution selling experience (required)
- Ability to read and interpret project specifications, submittals, and material requirements
- Knowledge of customer business needs in civil and environmental construction markets
- Experience selling into a distributor or two-step distribution channel
- Familiarity with imported product sourcing, container logistics, or extended lead-time supply chains
- Comfort reconciling customer requirements against available inventory, inbound container schedules, and factory production windows to build a workable supply plan
- CRM proficiency and comfort with quoting, forecasting, and reporting tools
How you'll work
This role carries real independence. You will receive guidance on unusual or complex problems, with periodic review of your output by the Par Global President and Vice President. Hybrid work means you will need to be self-directed, disciplined about territory planning, and consistent about pipeline reporting without daily supervision.
Travel and work environment
- Home-based office, with regular time on active construction sites, in warehouses, and at manufacturing facilities
- Those environments involve temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes that may cause noticeable discomfort
- Personal protective equipment required at customer job sites
- Overnight travel more than 30% of the time
Compensation and benefits
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience
- Uncapped commission on sales
- Travel and business expense reimbursement
- [ADD: health benefits, PTO, retirement]
- The chance to build a territory at a growing, family-owned distributor with direct access to ownership

Technical Sales Manager Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a technical sales manager in Georgia?
The most direct path is a bachelor's degree in engineering, information technology, or business, followed by several years in a quota-carrying technical sales role. Georgia does not require a state-issued license specifically for technical sales management. Large Georgia employers in industrial technology and SaaS typically promote from within their sales engineering or account executive ranks, so building product expertise alongside a verifiable record of closed enterprise deals is the practical credential that opens the door to a manager title here.
How much do technical sales managers make in Georgia?
Technical sales managers in Georgia earn a median of about $159,890 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $79,560 for the lowest 10% to over $292,490 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire technical sales managers in Georgia?
Employers hiring technical sales managers in Georgia right now include Trane Technologies, EAE USA, and ADM, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Georgia's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters and logistics technology companies in the Atlanta metro means that pipeline tends to be consistent throughout the year rather than seasonal.
Which Georgia cities have the most technical sales manager jobs?
Atlanta, Augusta, and Alpharetta account for the most technical sales manager openings in Georgia. Atlanta drives the largest share because it is home to major corporate headquarters in fintech, cybersecurity, and supply chain technology, while Savannah's growing port and manufacturing sector has expanded demand for industrial and logistics solutions sales leadership, and Alpharetta's established technology corridor draws consistent hiring from SaaS and cloud companies based there.
Are there remote technical sales manager jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and more than many sales roles because managing an accounts team and conducting discovery calls translates well to distributed work. About 71% of technical sales manager openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting the role's mix of fieldwork and desk-based pipeline management. The client-facing and product-demo portions of the job are the most likely to remain remote, while territory reviews and team coaching tend to require in-person presence.
How can I get hired as a technical sales manager in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point is a sales development representative or inside sales role at a Georgia technology or industrial company, which builds the prospecting and product knowledge that technical sales managers depend on. Companies such as NCR Voyix and Honeywell's Georgia operations run structured associate programs that rotate through sales engineering and account management functions. Earning a vendor-specific certification in a product line your target employer sells, such as a cloud platform or automation system, meaningfully strengthens an application when hands-on sales experience is limited.
Where can I find and apply to technical sales manager jobs in Georgia?
You can find and apply to technical sales manager jobs in Georgia on Migrate Mate, which lists current Georgia openings across Atlanta, Savannah, Alpharetta, and other markets in the state. Scroll through the roles on this page, identify the ones that match your background and preferred territory, and apply directly to each listing.
