Business Sales Representative Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a business sales representative in Georgia?
Most business sales representative positions in Georgia require at minimum a high school diploma, though a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is increasingly standard for competitive openings. Georgia does not require a state-issued license for general business sales, but roles in specific sectors such as insurance or securities require credentials issued through the Georgia Department of Insurance or FINRA registration. Many Georgia employers value prior customer-facing experience highly.
How much do business sales representatives make in Georgia?
Business sales representatives in Georgia earn a median of about $75,280 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $36,490 for the lowest 10% to over $158,520 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire business sales representatives in Georgia?
Employers hiring business sales representatives in Georgia right now include ADT, Henkel, and Comcast, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Georgia's strong base of Fortune 500 headquarters and regional distribution centers means demand for business sales professionals is spread across technology, consumer goods, logistics, and healthcare services companies throughout the state.
Which Georgia cities have the most business sales representative jobs?
Atlanta, Georgia, and Duluth have the most business sales representative openings in Georgia, driven by Atlanta's dense concentration of corporate headquarters, technology firms, and professional services employers that generate sustained B2B sales hiring, while Savannah's growing port logistics sector and Augusta's expanding healthcare and cybersecurity industries create consistent regional demand outside the metro core.
Are there remote business sales representative jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and they are more common than in many fields, since a substantial portion of B2B sales work involves phone outreach, video meetings, and CRM-based pipeline management that translates well to remote settings. About 56% of business sales representative openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how widely distributed the role has become. Account management and inside sales functions tend to be the most remote-eligible specialties.
How can I get hired as a business sales representative in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a sales development representative or inside sales associate role, which large Georgia-based employers in technology, healthcare services, and logistics use as a structured on-ramp for candidates without direct sales experience. Companies headquartered or with major Georgia operations frequently recruit recent graduates into rotational sales programs that combine product training with mentored quota responsibility. Completing a Salesforce administrator certification or earning a HubSpot sales certification gives candidates a measurable edge in Atlanta-area tech and SaaS hiring, where tool fluency often substitutes for years of experience.
Where can I find and apply to business sales representative jobs in Georgia?
You can find and apply to business sales representative jobs in Georgia on Migrate Mate, which lists current Georgia openings updated regularly. Search the listings to identify roles that match your experience, location preference, and target industry, then apply directly to the ones that fit.
