Advertising Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a advertising in Georgia?
Advertising does not require a state-issued license in Georgia. Most Georgia employers expect a bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, communications, or a related discipline, along with a portfolio that shows real campaign or creative work. Entry-level candidates often start in coordinator or assistant roles at Atlanta agencies or in-house brand teams, building toward account, media, or creative tracks through hands-on project experience.
Which companies hire advertisings in Georgia?
Employers hiring advertisings in Georgia right now include The Home Depot, Comcast, and Equifax, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Georgia's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters and regional agency offices in Atlanta creates steady demand across both full-service agencies and large in-house marketing departments.
Which Georgia cities have the most advertising jobs?
Atlanta, Rome, and Augusta have the most advertising openings in Georgia. Atlanta dominates due to its density of corporate headquarters, major ad agencies, and media companies, while Savannah's growing tourism and creative industries generate demand, and Augusta's expanding healthcare and government sectors support steady in-house advertising roles.
Are there remote advertising jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 78% of advertising openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how much of the work involves digital tools, platforms, and communication rather than on-site production. Media buying, paid digital, and brand strategy roles are the most likely to be offered with remote or hybrid flexibility.
How can I get hired as a advertising in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is an internship or junior coordinator role at an Atlanta agency or in-house brand team, which most large Georgia employers use to develop early-career talent. Companies like Cox Enterprises and major agency offices in Midtown Atlanta regularly post entry-level openings. Candidates who build a portfolio through freelance projects, student campaigns, or volunteer work for Georgia nonprofits stand out, and certifications in Google Ads or Meta Blueprint strengthen an application before the first role.
Where can I find and apply to advertising jobs in Georgia?
You can find and apply to advertising jobs in Georgia on Migrate Mate, which lists current Georgia openings across Atlanta, Savannah, Augusta, and other markets. Search the listings to find roles that fit your background and apply directly to the ones that match your experience and career goals.
