SALES SUPPORT SPECIALIST-ROAD MACHINERY
ABOUT THE ROLE
As part of the Americas team, SANY is seeking a driven, forward-thinking, and highly motivated Sales Support Specialist-Road Machinery to support the growth of our road machinery business across the U.S. You will work closely with regional dealers, Regional Business Managers (RBMs), and customers to drive dealer enablement, bid support, and market development. This is a support-focused role — you will not carry an individual sales quota, but your work directly impacts the team's sales results.
With deep investment and backing from SANY Group, the Americas business continues to grow rapidly, and this role is critical to delivering competitive, customer-focused products that support long-term market expansion.
With current revenues over $500 million, SANY America continues to make strong progress and significant investments in the Americas market; the organization is now pursuing an aggressive growth strategy and is looking to move quickly beyond this initial platform and increase market share.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support dealer network with product information, sales tools, and technical guidance.
- Assist in municipal and government bid processes alongside dealers — including bid preparation, spec reviews, and submission support.
- Serve as the key liaison between customers, RBMs, and dealers across the region.
- Track and manage sales pipeline data, market activity, and customer follow-ups.
- Coordinate product training and marketing support for dealer teams.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in construction equipment, heavy machinery, or a related industry.
- Hands-on knowledge of motor graders and/or soil compactors from a dealer, OEM, or rental background.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting.
- Spend approximately 50% of your time in the field — visiting dealers, attending customer demos, and supporting market development activities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in municipal or government equipment sales or sales support, including public bid processes and government procurement cycles.
- Hands-on knowledge of motor graders and/or soil compactors from a dealer, OEM, or rental background.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting.
- Experience working with an emerging brand against established competitors.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- HYBRID (OFFICE + FIELD / OPERATIONS)
- This is a hybrid role that includes both office-based work and time spent in operational or customer environments. Work may involve periods of sitting, standing, walking, and computer use. Occasional travel may be required.
