DESCRIPTION
Do you want to ensure that every customer is connected to the right support team at the right time? The AWS Enterprise Support organization is looking for a Sales Planning Specialist to work across Support, Contracts, Product, and Sales to support aligning Enterprise Support customers to AWSentral entities — proactively and accurately — so that support delivery runs smoothly without reactive firefighting when territories change.
This is an exciting time to join as Enterprise Support scales from bespoke regional systems to global alignment and visibility through centralized tooling. In this role, Enterprise Support is an integrated partner in Sales planning, not a downstream consumer of territory decisions. You will own the end-to-end process for mapping leaders and accounts to go-to-market channels via the Sales Hierarchy, managing customer transfers triggered by territory changes, and governing data hygiene across account records. You will step into a position with clear expectations, existing partnerships, and immediate opportunities to shape how the organization operates globally.
Key job responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end process for mapping Enterprise Support leaders and accounts to go-to-market channels through the Sales Hierarchy, ensuring continuous and accurate territory alignment.
- Manage customer transfers triggered by territory changes, coordinating with Sales and support teams to maintain uninterrupted service delivery.
- Govern data hygiene of account-to-channel records through record management, sales account planning, and hierarchy adoption processes.
- Negotiate and influence Sales planning, field leadership, and operations stakeholders to position Enterprise Support as a proactive partner in territory decisions.
- Identify process gaps in alignment workflows and design improvements that reduce reactive escalations and increase operational consistency.
A day in the life
AWS Enterprise Support partners closely with field leaders and Sales teams to deliver world-class support to customers ranging from fast-growing mid-market companies to enterprise and public sector organizations. The team believes that proactive alignment between support and Sales territories is critical to customer success.
We operate in a collaborative, global environment where strong stakeholder management and persuasion are valued alongside operational precision. If you want to play a central role in how AWS supports its customers at scale and grow your career alongside a motivated, inclusive team, we would love to hear from you.

Sales Support Specialist Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a sales support specialist in Texas?
Most sales support specialist positions in Texas require at least an associate degree in business, marketing, or a related field, though many employers accept equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree. Texas does not require a state-issued license for this role. Building proficiency in Salesforce or another major CRM platform significantly improves a candidate's competitiveness, and completing a vendor-provided CRM certification is a concrete way to demonstrate that skill before applying.
Which companies hire sales support specialists in Texas?
Employers hiring sales support specialists in Texas right now include ernesta, GME Supply, and First Citizens Bank, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Texas's large base of technology, energy, and telecommunications headquarters means demand for sales support talent remains consistent across the state throughout the year.
Which Texas cities have the most sales support specialist jobs?
Houston, Dallas, and Irving have the most sales support specialist openings in Texas. Houston's concentration of energy and industrial companies, Dallas's deep pool of corporate headquarters and logistics firms, and Austin's fast-growing technology sector all generate sustained demand for sales support professionals, which is why those metros consistently account for the largest share of postings.
Are there remote sales support specialist jobs in Texas?
Yes, and they're more common than in many fields because sales support work is largely desk-based and conducted through digital tools. About 80% of sales support specialist openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, making it one of the more flexible role types on the market. Order management and CRM administration tasks tend to be the most amenable to fully remote arrangements.
How can I get hired as a sales support specialist in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving from a customer service or administrative coordinator role into a junior sales support position, since those jobs build the order management and communication skills Texas employers prioritize. Large Texas employers such as Dell Technologies and AT&T regularly hire entry-level sales operations associates and offer internal training programs. Completing a Salesforce Administrator certification or a similar CRM credential before applying gives candidates without direct sales support experience a concrete edge that hiring managers in Texas respond to.
Where can I find and apply to sales support specialist jobs in Texas?
You can find and apply to sales support specialist jobs in Texas on Migrate Mate, which lists current Texas openings. Search for roles that fit your experience level and target location, then apply directly to the ones that match.
