Customer Service Specialist – E-Commerce & After-Sales Support

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Specialist to join a growing renewable energy and e-commerce company specializing in solar panels, lithium batteries, solar inverters, and home energy storage solutions.

This position focuses on providing direct customer support through inbound phone calls, resolving product-related inquiries, managing customer complaints, and coordinating after-sales services.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in B2C customer service, inbound call handling, complaint resolution, and after-sales support.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer inbound customer service calls and promptly follow up on missed calls and customer inquiries.
• Assist customers with product questions, order status, shipping issues, warranty claims, and after-sales support.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution and follow-up.
• Coordinate product returns, refunds, replacements, and warranty requests.
• Communicate with warehouse and logistics teams to track returned products and resolve delivery issues.
• Maintain accurate customer records, service tickets, and order information in CRM systems.
• Follow company service standards and protect customer privacy.
• Help improve customer satisfaction, online store ratings, and customer retention.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve service efficiency.

Qualifications

Required:

• Previous hands-on experience in phone-based customer service, call centers, or consumer customer support.
• Experience directly handling inbound calls and resolving customer complaints.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent listening, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain professional and calm when handling difficult customers.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic computer applications.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to work on-site in Houston, TX 77064.

Preferred:

• Experience in e-commerce customer support or after-sales service.
• Experience handling product returns, refunds, warranty claims, or replacements.
• Familiarity with Zendesk, Salesforce, Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, or similar customer service platforms.
• Experience supporting consumer electronics, home improvement, solar energy, or technical products.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, E-Commerce, Communications, or a related field.

Prior solar industry experience is not required. Product training will be provided.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
