The most direct path into the field is through adjacent roles in sales support, business analysis, or marketing coordination, combined with demonstrated proficiency in CRM platforms and data reporting tools. Certifications from Salesforce or HubSpot can strengthen a candidacy significantly.

Which Georgia cities have the most sales operations specialist jobs?
Atlanta, Georgia, and Alpharetta account for the most sales operations specialist openings in Georgia. Atlanta dominates due to its density of corporate headquarters in fintech, enterprise software, and professional services, while Alpharetta's technology corridor and Savannah's logistics and distribution sector generate demand beyond the core metro.
