Sales Operations Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a sales operations professional in Georgia?
Sales operations roles in Georgia do not require a state-issued license, so the path centers on education and demonstrated skills. Most hiring managers expect at least a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. Building hands-on proficiency in Salesforce and earning a Salesforce Administrator certification gives candidates a meaningful edge with Georgia's large technology and enterprise employers. Entry-level analysts and operations coordinators are the most common starting points.
Which companies hire sales operations professionals in Georgia?
Employers hiring sales operations professionals in Georgia right now include DriveTime Automotive, Geekplus America, and ADP, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Georgia's concentration of technology headquarters and Fortune 500 logistics companies in the Atlanta metro creates consistent, year-round demand for this role.
Which Georgia cities have the most sales operations jobs?
Atlanta, Alpharetta, and Suwanee lead Georgia for sales operations openings. Atlanta dominates because it is home to a dense cluster of technology firms, financial services companies, and corporate headquarters that run large revenue teams, while Alpharetta's established technology corridor and Savannah's growing logistics and port-related operations drive demand in those markets.
Are there remote sales operations jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and more than most fields. Sales operations is largely desk-based and data-driven work, making it well suited to remote and hybrid arrangements. About 65% of sales operations openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how broadly distributed these teams have become since the shift to distributed work. Roles focused on CRM administration and reporting tend to be the most remote-friendly.
How can I get hired as a sales operations professional in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is landing a sales coordinator or business development representative role at a Georgia technology or logistics company and moving laterally into operations within a year. Large Atlanta employers regularly bring on operations associates and junior analysts who come from inside sales or administrative backgrounds. Completing a Salesforce Administrator certification before applying gives candidates without formal experience a concrete, verifiable skill that hiring managers recognize immediately.
