Service & Sales Representative Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a service & sales representative in Georgia?
Most service & sales representative roles in Georgia require a high school diploma and on-the-job training, but roles that involve insurance products require a state-issued license from the Georgia Department of Insurance before you can sell. To obtain it, you complete a pre-licensing course, pass the Georgia licensing exam for your line of authority, and submit an application through the department. Telecommunications and retail sales roles typically require no license beyond a background check and employer training.
Which companies hire service & sales representatives in Georgia?
Companies currently hiring service & sales representatives in Georgia include CLEAR, Drybar, and First Citizens Bank, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Georgia's concentration of insurance headquarters, telecommunications providers, and regional healthcare systems makes it one of the more active states for this role year-round.
Which Georgia cities have the most service & sales representative jobs?
Atlanta, Augusta, and Savannah account for the largest share of service & sales representative openings in Georgia. Atlanta dominates because it is home to major corporate headquarters in insurance, telecom, and financial services, while Augusta and Savannah generate steady demand through regional healthcare systems, military-adjacent employers, and growing retail and logistics operations.
Are there remote service & sales representative jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and they are more common than in many other fields. About 13% of service & sales representative openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting that a substantial portion of the role involves phone, email, and video-based customer contact rather than in-person visits. Inside sales, account renewals, and customer retention functions are the segments most likely to be performed fully remotely.
How can I get hired as a service & sales representative in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying for inbound customer service roles at large Georgia call center employers such as Aflac, NCR Voyix, or regional insurance carriers, which routinely hire candidates without prior sales experience and provide paid product and licensing training. Retail associate positions at wireless carriers operating in metro Atlanta also serve as a common stepping stone. Completing a pre-licensing course for a Georgia Life and Health Insurance license before applying gives candidates a measurable edge even at the entry level.
Where can I find and apply to service & sales representative jobs in Georgia?
