PIC is a growth-focused marketing agency that partners with marketing teams that want smart execution, clear communication, and measurable results. We're looking for an Account Manager who loves owning client relationships, bringing structure to moving parts, and turning strategy into action.
This role, sometimes called Client Success Manager, or Marketing Project Manager at other agencies, is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of client communication, project coordination, and strategic thinking - and who enjoys working closely with specialists while being accountable for the overall client experience.
What You'll Do
Own the Client Relationship
- Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted guide for a portfolio of clients across industries and service mixes, walking with them to achieve their growth goals.
- Build trusted, long-term relationships by deeply understanding each client's goals, challenges, and internal dynamics.
- Interpret client needs and convert them into clear direction for internal teams. Simplify internal progress and roadblocks to report back to the client in meaningful updates or discussions for decisions to be made.
- Facilitate PIC's Hero Mission Strategy®: Help clients define their Hero and the Mission they are pursuing to ensure all marketing efforts align with the customer's journey.
Drive Strategy and Execution
- Partner with strategists and channel specialists (SEO, paid media, content, development, design) to shape and execute marketing plans.
- Ensure work is scoped accurately, priorities are clear, and projects move forward efficiently.
- Monitor performance at a high level, flag risks or opportunities early, and help guide optimization conversations.
Run Clear, Valuable Communication
- Lead recurring client meetings with purpose: setting agendas, guiding conversations, and keeping discussions grounded in goals and results.
- Coordinate reporting and insights in a way that tells a story, not just delivers metrics.
- Manage client questions, feedback, and requests with clarity, confidence, and follow-through.
Support Account Growth
- Identify opportunities to expand or refine services when it genuinely benefits the client.
- Work closely with internal leadership and strategists to scope next steps, renewals, and add-on initiatives without being "salesy."
Be a Strong Internal Operator
- Keep projects organized, timelines realistic, and expectations aligned across teams.
- Use tools like Asana and Harvest to track work, time, and progress.
- Contribute to improving templates, processes, and workflows as PIC continues to mature and scale.
This Role Is a Great Fit If You:
- Enjoy being accountable for outcomes - not just tasks.
- Are comfortable juggling multiple clients, priorities, and conversations at once.
- Can zoom out to see the big picture, then zoom in to make sure details don't slip.
- Like structure but aren't rigid. Processes help you move faster, not slower.
- Communicate clearly, directly, and thoughtfully (especially when things get complex).
- Want to grow alongside a team that's actively refining how it works.
Experience & Skills We're Looking For
- 2–5+ years of experience in account management, client services, project management, or a similar role (agency experience is a plus).
- Working knowledge of digital marketing services such as SEO, paid media, content, websites, and email marketing.
- Experience working with a variety of marketing tools and willingness to learn more (Familiarity with HubSpot/CRMs, Wordpress/Shopify, GA4, and Asana are a plus).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage timelines and dependencies.
- Confidence leading meetings and communicating with stakeholders at different levels.
- A problem-solving mindset and comfort making judgment calls.
- Curiosity and a desire to keep learning as the industry (and our services) evolves.
Hours, Salary & Benefits
- Competitive salary based on experience and training needs
- 100% employer-paid health insurance for the employee
- Dental, vision, and supplemental insurance options
- Flexible schedule with hybrid / remote options
- Company-provided computer
- PTO
- Collaborative, supportive team environment

Marketing Account Manager Jobs in Pennsylvania: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a marketing account manager in Pennsylvania?
Most Pennsylvania employers require a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or advertising as the starting point. Marketing account management carries no state-issued license or registration in Pennsylvania, so the hiring path runs through education, relevant internships, and portfolio development. Many candidates begin in coordinator or assistant account roles at Philadelphia or Pittsburgh agencies before moving into full account management, building client-facing experience that Pennsylvania employers consistently prioritize over advanced degrees.
Which companies hire marketing account managers in Pennsylvania?
Employers hiring marketing account managers in Pennsylvania right now include WebFX, PIC, and Highwire, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of November 2026. Pennsylvania's concentration of large healthcare systems, financial institutions, and regional advertising agencies creates steady demand for account management talent across both in-house and agency settings.
Which Pennsylvania cities have the most marketing account manager jobs?
York, Harrisburg, and Pittsburgh have the most marketing account manager openings in Pennsylvania. Philadelphia generates the largest share of listings, driven by its dense base of advertising agencies, health system marketing departments, and corporate headquarters, while Pittsburgh's growing technology and financial services sectors fuel strong demand there, and suburban hubs like King of Prussia attract regional and national brand marketing teams.
Are there remote marketing account manager jobs in Pennsylvania?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 100% of marketing account manager openings tied to Pennsylvania are remote or hybrid as of November 2026, reflecting the desk-based and digital nature of much of the work. Client communication, campaign reporting, and platform management translate well to remote arrangements, making this one of the more flexible roles in Pennsylvania's broader marketing job market.
How can I get hired as a marketing account manager in Pennsylvania with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a coordinator or junior account role at a Philadelphia or Pittsburgh agency, where rotation across accounts builds client management skills quickly. Large Pennsylvania employers such as healthcare systems and financial services firms also run structured marketing associate programs that accept new graduates. Candidates who come from adjacent roles in customer success, inside sales, or marketing operations are frequently considered. A portfolio showing campaign work, even from internships or academic projects, gives candidates a measurable edge with Pennsylvania hiring managers.
Where can I find and apply to marketing account manager jobs in Pennsylvania?
You can find and apply to marketing account manager jobs in Pennsylvania on Migrate Mate, which lists current Pennsylvania openings updated regularly. Find the roles that fit your experience and apply directly to each one without creating a profile or signing up.
